I never had a motorcycle... One day in a video about a guy that gives his brother a Vulcan S for his birthday, I fell in love with this bike. I am from Eastern Europe where an average salary is 450$. So it will be a long time before I can afford one. A used one from 2015 is around 4500euro. But I do my best. Thanks for this nice video. You just strengthen my faith that I should get this beauty!!
I own a Triumph T120 , a Honda VT 750 and a Honda NC 750 automatic . I Love my Kawasaki Vulcan S - it has terrific handling , loves to rev and looks cool . I ride the Vulcan S as a short distance cafe bike . A real pleasure
I've had my 2015 Vulcan for 2 years! "LOVE IT" Great bike! There is a easy hack to get rid of the restrictions on your Kawasaki if you search for it on youtube. Here in america there is no restrictions. Keep riding my friends! Also great video. I wish I could go to Australia and ride my bike there! Absolutely beautiful country!
It will do more than 110 mph. I paced a Ninja 300 at that speed on mine and still had more throttle left. The little Ninja was maxed out and I could have easily passed it but ran out of straight road. The Vulcan is a beast!
Throw a power commander and a two brothers exhaust on it and it's a beast. I also added the cafe windshield and givi 22l bags. Way to fun. Love mine. I just need to swap out the seat.
you also can mention that it's a easy bike to customize. almost no electronics and you can easely remove all plastic parts, change handlebar, reshape seat, there is a lot to do with this bike and at the ens, you have the fastest cruiser bike for a very low price. you definitively need to change your seat for the extended seat wich is way more confortable. i dont haveit but i reshaped mine, and made a leather cover. now my seat is longer and a little bit higher: i can easly move forward to backward, left to right in twisties, and adapt position to the driving: close the fuel tank in mountain roads, or far behind for straight roads. i also tested all footpegs positions as i 'm not a big fan of forward footpegs. pb is that if you put them backward, your feet are useless lol and your legs muscles are always in tension, and your butt hurt, because foot are not backward enough to be useful. So after many tests i put the pegs in the most forward position, lowered the handlebar to the max: when you are max backward in your seat your legs and arms are almost straight, ( a little close the the V-rod position, hard to explain in english for me), and strangely, it's really confortable! i make 5 or 6 hour ride trip with one pause and no pb. if you want to see how we can customize this bike what we can do with it to make it more original and attractive, watch my photo album: facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1636809166393498.1073741866.100001932902910&type=1&l=2afc12d7d6
It's an awesome bike! I purchase mine back in 2015 and still rides like new. I haven't experienced any problems yet. I'm actually about to change the front tire. 😁
I found to get the most out of my Vulcan s was to keep the revs up, peek torque @6000 peak hp @7500 it loves that range and seems to outperform all but the super sports.
I am using it on weekends and yesterday I did touch 175 kmph speed to show the Royal Enfield guys who were testing 650 continental gt since I am also a Royal Enfield rider for 22 years. My Vulcan S is three months old.
Nice man. It's an awesome place to live near by.. I used to go there all the time for the twisties.. it's a long ride when you go from one side to the other.
Wanderer do u still got the stand muffler on her sound a little quiet l got a twin brother racing muffler on my with no baffle and it sounds like a monster l recomend it
Have you seen the IKEA "Hey Dana" video where this guy annoys his GF with puns about the furniture names? You sound exactly like him! Great review too, thanks!
Hey mate, what is the road that you are riding on in the first parts of the video? The area the guy crashed in etc. I know your down Sydney way. I’m in Newcastle & wouldn’t mind hitting that up, as that looks like a decent ride.
Its an awesome ride but it'll kinda suck to get here if you're coming from Newcastle. All the way on the other side of Sydney.. Royal national park. If you go fron the start of the park till the end its about 30 to 40 mins of twisties. Totally worth it.
Where in Australia are you riding in this video? The terrain and roads look very similar to the kinds of country backroads you find in the Appalachian mountains in the US.
Hi wanderer just wanted to know i dont have experience on highend bikes..max i rode is 300cc...is it adviceable for a novince just like me to go for vulcan...as i am looking for a cruiser and just to relax and ride...no fancy type..please advise me..
Yes I got this bike as my first & im 5'2. Just get the ergo restricted reach seat, it bring you forward more. I still tip toe but it's not uncomfortable at all
My friend has an mt07. All I can say is, as being new to 125cc+ on my full UK license, I was able to keep up on my Vulcan with my friend on his mt07 and he has been on big bikes for much longer. He wasn't going all out by any means, but from his point of view he felt the Vulcan was evenly matched more or less. It would be a difference of skill in the rider that changed things at the end of the day - they both have more power and handling than most riders could or would ever master outside of professional racing. I had the opportunity to try mt07 at my test school, however it was way too tall for me. I am 5"5 and had to get on the pegs to throw a leg over, and could about get tip toes on. It has a wide seat, which is what makes it harder. However it is very light in comparison to many other similar bikes, very light. I did my test on an xj6 instead as it was shorter to the ground for me. Only at the end I felt the mt07 again and thought - wow! No wonder I was out of breath compared to everyone else! The Vulcan is also fairly weighty but because you are low to the ground you have a lot of purchase. The Vulcan has a much longer wheel base compared to the mt07, and the turning circle is also bigger. That's about as much comparison as I can give, not having ridden the mt07.
I spoke of this in the video I made before this one.. Alot of people hated me for calling the bike boring.. Obviously compared to a bike like the yamaha mt09 itll be boring.. But it appeals to a lot of folks. You can have fun on it but yeah man its no where near as fun as some of the bikes you can get nowadays. Fuck i love biking hey.. Its raining and cold right now and sadly I cant go for a ride right now
Im gonna do that soon and make a video about it too. An increase from 48hp to 61hp.. Just by taking a bolt out.. What an amazing thing that can be done to this bike lol
You need to disconnect that wussy Australian limiter, and unleash mooah power. If you like the bike LAMS'd, you'll love it unrestricted. 7k+ RPMs is where it really wants to play.
The magic of editing is i can cut the bit out where it was idling for a good 5 minutes. Or should i leave that bit in next time just so you can stay calm. Ya fucking stupid knobhead.
Phantom288288 the 1600 is a bit more power and a bit more reliability, you can get some good improvements with an intake, a pipe and a Power Commander, not sure if its worth trading up from a 1500 though...
Phanton288288 thats not trading up then, thats trading down... Have you ridden one? You might get bored pretty quickly going that much down in engine size, the only bike I can think of that wont be boring but will be a bit smaller and lighter is the Indian Scout...
BigChiefWiggles V I live in a small town, the dealership only has 1 and the day I went it was close to closing and they had just put it together. If weather permits I'll be testing one this Wednesday before I make a decision. But that's why I want to try it. My bike is big and quick. But the these are just so damn sexy
HumGuitar Hahaha its basically a review of the bike with a pro rider tip at the end on various riding positions.. The exposing fat package riding position and the motogp pro rider hidden package position
I just bought a Vulcan S as my first bike, practicing riding on it and its an absolute blast!

Did you ever get one?
@@jamesssss621 Not a Vulcan S.
But I got a Yamaha Virago 535.
@@johnapocalipto6000 That’s great! I’m glad you are getting to ride!
Glad you changed your mind about it! I love mine as well :)
Picked up my Vulcan S six months ago as my first bike and I absolutely love it, I've put 3500 miles on it so far. Great handling bike.
I own a Triumph T120 , a Honda VT 750 and a Honda NC 750 automatic . I Love my Kawasaki Vulcan S - it has terrific handling , loves to rev and looks cool . I ride the Vulcan S as a short distance cafe bike . A real pleasure
Martin Carter For a bloke with such a range of bikes.. Thats definitely a good compliment to the Vulcan S. It is an excellent bike.

Riding on the wrong side of the road like that is very dangerous! All those cars had to move out of the way
They are only moving out of the way so they can admire the vulcan S 😂
They were just getting a better look at the package.
A great feeling when cars do that to you. Am I right Wanderer?
It will do more than 110 mph. I paced a Ninja 300 at that speed on mine and still had more throttle left. The little Ninja was maxed out and I could have easily passed it but ran out of straight road. The Vulcan is a beast!

clrs32 I can only imagine what a beast it would become with those mods. Sounds great I'm sure you're having a blast!
Got a video of your mods?
I'm glad you gave it a second on chance. Plain and not fancy is sometimes a good thing.!
Discussion on Fat Package was well informative 👍👍
Avneesh Singh Tomar Haha im glad you enjoyed it mate!!
Yeah I definitely am in love with my 2017 Vulcan s Cafe

Two birds with one stone; more on the Vulcan S and views of the Australian countryside.
Roger McFarland Surprisingly the Australian countryside you see here is basically in Sydney.. Its about 30 mins from the city CBD.
I found to get the most out of my Vulcan s was to keep the revs up, peek torque @6000 peak hp @7500 it loves that range and seems to outperform all but the super sports.

Hey I live not far from there. Once I got my confidence on my vulcan s - the national Park was the first time I did some twisties.
Nice man. It's an awesome place to live near by.. I used to go there all the time for the twisties.. it's a long ride when you go from one side to the other.
Like the way your revving that engine on a cold start? GENIUS. IGMO.
MrMogthemoogle Haha.. I dont know where peoples brains are nowadays hey mate? No common sense used these days.
MrMogthemoogle Hahaha lmfao too true man. The internet inspires a whole new depth of pea-brain 😂
Wanderer Would it have been friendlier to have responded by saying to the viewer that you had warmed up the motorcycle before you revved it up.
@@brettsutherland4194 Definitely. I'll probably just stick to the friendly approach next time 😂
Wanderer I know it won't be easy for the piece of shit that you are .
I got me a Vulcan s 650 2018 and it a great ride l hav so much fun on it
Hell yeah Aussie Jiggalo.
Wanderer do u still got the stand muffler on her sound a little quiet l got a twin brother racing muffler on my with no baffle and it sounds like a monster l recomend it
Great video. How does this handle in the rain?
i got supercurve last year as my first..and got the vulcan a few days ago after waiting 6 month..i am expected
Good review, i have the vulcan 800 classic, would have been good if you had pulled over for a walk around view of the bike
im 5'6 130lbs so most bikes i can flat foot are underpowered or heavy. this bike was a dream find
I’ve been trying to decide between a rebel 500 and the Vulcan s and I’m thinking I’ll go for the Vulcan so I can have a bit more power
Nice review
but why are you reving it like that at start?
Have you seen the IKEA "Hey Dana" video where this guy annoys his GF with puns about the furniture names? You sound exactly like him! Great review too, thanks!

Reef Wellington Oh nice :) I'm currently riding a Suzuki GS500F and i tip toe on that lol so im used to that :)
Good to know. I’m a short rider too at 5’3” so just wondering how it would be.
Get the Vulcan for real
Screw the Porsche....that Mustang at the stoplight😍. '67 perhaps?
How the hell did you get the front wheel up while standing on the forward controls?
Mate check out the KAWAZAKI LTD kz1000
1980s..they done it before.
Have you remove the Ls restrictions on the bike?
I take it that this is a lams version? (Because of the lower rated power)
I want a Vulcan S with the engine from a Z1000
can confirm riding one of these things does make my jeans tight.
what if a bird hits you in the face like it almost did there?? LMAOO

how would someone compare this to a mt 07

I think i'll stick to my indian scout bobber with abs
i was surprised to find out it makes a bit more HP and torque than a Yamaha bolt
more than a bit more ^^
Keep it up.
If Ur from India I definitely borrowed this bike for short ride.
I think u definitely say yes about it.
Rochlani Anil Yeah man any bike of mine is yours to test ride. Anytime bro

Fat package. Thats a good one made me laugh
