Saw this film 3 years ago in the Piazza Centrale in Bologna at their annual film festival. It was accompanied by a live pianist. 3000 people watching. It's one of the funniest, most affecting films I've ever seen. Charlie Chaplin was a stone-cold genius.

This is a part that I love the most of Charlie Chaplin' film
It reminds me of Bruce Lee in the early 1970's but yet he destroyed the multi mirrors. Not has much change back then multi mirrors, moving floors, mechanical man or people, etc. I went to a house of mirrors, I hit my head as well.

We were. in England from '73 to '84. I remember seeing Charlie multiple times live on TV during that period. Perhaps he was also knighted during that time, I am not sure. Without doubt he was the greatest comedian of the silent films era.
