    I picked up my 365 this weekend, took it to the range and shot 225 rounds. I had multiple RTB Failures. I came home watched this video and went back today. Changed my grip and 200 rounds later I didn't have failures. There you go..... Thanks guys.

    Eh, if the 365 can fail to go in to battery because the user holds the slide with his thumbs, it’s not a Sig issue, it’s an amateur user issue.

    This video should have 3 to 4 times as many views, but because they didn't put a letter "P" in front of the 365 in the title, many people never saw it in a search for this pistol, and that's a shame because this video is very informative!

    *So you guys have TWO rental P365s from the first Sig production run- one with over 12,000 rounds and the other with over 4,200 rounds- and both have run great all along. And now you've fired Harry's P365 for 600 flawless rounds.*

    Great review/test and I especially love the cross-examination of the Harry's Holsters P365 that initially sparked SO much doubt with this little gun. I have to say I have seen a myriad of guns fail (mostly minor, few catastrophic) and they were from VARIOUS manufacturers. I have had to jump through the hoops of waranty work and even replacement! No brand is 100% flawless, especially if they are trying to innovate and revolutionize. I absolutely believe the P365 had (and may still have) teething pains. I also absolutely believe Sig RnD works those out and fixes or replaces every pistol they receive back. The real kicker is most guys commenting on YT or in the forums don't even own one. You'll see it in these comments even; dudes saying, "I'll never buy one". And yet here they are, watching the video and commenting as if they have first hand experience. They simply parrot the single experience of their favorite YT channel. It's laughable. - ACTUAL P365 owner

    First, Hunter Elliott, from Rangehot. Then, Bald and Curious. Now, you guys. FINALLY, there are credible people out here, that cannot be accused of being shills; speaking positively about this gun. Thank you! Harry's Holsters, Poe Performance and Military Arms Channel, did massive damage to this gun's reputation; even though I know that was not their intention. I think a lot of people were out for blood, after the drop safety issues with the P320 line.

    I researched, walked in the store to buy a glock 43. After reviewing the sig p365 I went back researched some more and bought the sig. Front sight didn't illuminate for me so it's at Sig getting replaced right now. Got my ammo ready and waiting when it gets back.
    Update I have 500 rounds down range now like it more ever time I shoot it!

    What a great, informative and convincing video guys... thank you! You've just given me, and thousands of others who've pre-ordered this pistol some real peace of mind. I was a little worried back when Harry's Holster posted his video and a couple of others posted about problems RTB. Now that I know Sig has tweaked the gun and you've proven that Harry's problems were of his own making I have no worries about my copy running right when I receive it. Great job!

      Aloha State glocks get a pass way too often. If there's an issue with the glock it's always "user error". glocks are not "perfection", despite what their fanboys claim.

    I got a lot of whipping because I knew it was shooter error and always said so. So here's my report my 365-9-BXR3 I received March 3rd. Only had a chance to fired 600 rounds thru it, but I've never had any issues experienced by a few others. I was using Sellier & Bellot 115 gr. FMJ's. I love this little pistol!

      bikeracerdude I use to re-load. I not bending over to pick up my brass anymore. I buy ammo by the case. All that work picking it up,taking it home, tumbling, buying primer, powder and bullets. Primers were hard to find for awhile there during the ammo shortage. And then hours of ka-chunk, ka-chunk through a progressive loader. Nope! Buy and let it Lie.

    • @bikeracerdude
      @bikeracerdude 6 лет назад

      C Kim,
      I know exactly what you mean- I just buy new factory ammo now and let others have the brass... Chasing primers, powder, and bullets was such a PITA during those obama years. The only down side to having sold off my reloading equipment is the unlikely possibility that "factory ammo will be unavailable while reloading supplies ARE readily available"- and as we just experienced under obama a couple years back- reloading supplies were NOT readily available, either!

    • @1014p
      @1014p 5 лет назад

      I had this issue on several guns, simply just big hands issue. Also if you have fat hands this will happen. You know because it will press the pudgy part of your hand into the slide release. They must really be trying to get as much press as possible while its a hot subject. They have said nothing others including harry's has not stated about the changes. Do we really need a recap? Oh yes we are fully aware of the extended mags plus much better reviews who actually measured the difference. I am amazed how they have to point out on a small gun that you could ride the slide with your thumb. Definitely down voting this regurgitated content.

  • @geraldkoch394

    I just bought mine two days ago, the first thing I did, is put all three mags through it as fast as I could shoot, to make sure it worked, did not lube, nothing, and then shot another 150rds without doing anything to the gun, NIT ONE ISSUE, and I mean not one little tiny issue!!! This thing is absolutely a little monster, I don’t even carry my glock 23 since I got this thing, I’m love it’s size and how smooth it shoots, you can’t go wrong, now that said, I haven’t tried the limp wrist thing, lol 😂 that was funny,

    I bought mine in early July and it had a born-on date of June 13th. It was the most recent model with the manual thumb safety. I had multiple FTEjects and FTRTB malfunctions along with three light strikes. I had to send it back to Sig twice. They ended up replacing the entire top half of the gun. I've run over 1000 perfect rounds through it since getting it back the second time. It wasn't my grip. There was something wrong with my P365. I will say Sig has EXCELLENT and very fast customer service. Each time, I was only out my gun for a week.

      @jimwms1able 6 лет назад +2

      bikeracerdude. I put the gun in my center console and the slide was pushed back just a little and it did not go back into battery. Later that day i intentionally pushed it back a about a quarter of an inch or so and it did not go back into battery. When I sent my gun in for the upgraded sights I told Sig about the failure to go into battery and they are going see what might cause this. I have owned a lot of guns an never had a problem like this before. That said, I would not hesitate to carry that gun. When shooting it I have never had an issue with it and it is extremely accurate.

    @Frogbones Family Shooting Center - Also the video in Harry's Holsters P365 wasn't causing a big of an uproar as you think. First off, that video only has about 63K views. Meanwhile MAC's video showing his P365 failing after only 800 rounds has over 300K views, and his 2nd video over another P365 showing significant primer drag like his first P365 has over 200K views. The reason many are complaining about the P365 is because many customers are having major failures, and it's not due to user error because the primary failures are dead triggers, not holding the thumbs too high to cause FTB. No matter how you grip the P365 it will have dead triggers, that's not user error, that's Sig Sauer error.

    Check out Military Arms Channels latest review of the P365 where he really likes the pistol, that is until his trigger spring broke. I'm sure the average owner is not going to put 1/2K rounds they their pistol in a year but the trigger going dead is still very troubling. ely336 The truth sometimes stings. If its shooter error then its shooter error. Get those fingers down off the slide and off the slide catch. Learn how to shoot the gun and stop blaming it. That ain't being arrogant its called being truthful. We make mistakes. Buck up. Some folks just can't admit that they make mistakes like everybody else. That is arrogant. If their grip is wrong and they are not willing to change it then they are going to have more problems than just one gun. I can't stand seeing shooters with their thumbs up around the slide. Malfunction just waiting to happen so they can blame the gun.

    What is it with the guys who run out and buy extended mags for pistols that are designed with a short grips so it is more concealable. I would understand if the extended mag was for a backup mag but other than that it is silly. I have personally never shot one of these yet but when several experianced shooters have similar problems, it is not the fault of the shooter. It is a silly to say that they are shooting it wrong. When someone has to use one in a life or death situation they should not have to think about the pistol failing cycle because they squeezed it to hard, if they do the pistol is shit, Not the shooter.

    Everyone sugar coats issues on this pistol. Keep trying over and over again till maybe this pistol will pass examinations all because it's made by SIG. If Remington or Taurus or Ruger would have made this pistol it would have been thrown in the garbage, it holds 10 rds instead of 7. Three extra rds for 300 more than comparable size pistols.

    Sooooo, The gun shoots fine with a legitimate hold, but when I went to the bag to try some shot grouping, the battery issue was extreme. Sure I was holding softer on the bag, trying to get the most out of the trigger squeeze. Point being, I can shoot my 226 and 938 on the bag with no problems, But the same whitebox 115 in this 365 needs special attention? Sure would hate to depend on this gun one handed in an emergency.

    So basically no mention of all the broken tips on the firing pins due to extreme smearing/ dragging of the primers? What about the weak trigger springs that caused dead triggers?
    Were those just user error problems too?
    I mean, we could talk about how SIG halted their production for some time to address the firing pin issue.

    Why do people hate Sigs? I don't hate any brand. They've all have problems, it's normal when machines are designed. My P225 A Classic is my best shooter. My P365 is doing great after some trips to the range. If any problem, I'll send it to Sig. Just like so many others. My brother had to send his PPk/S to S & W. Nothing wrong with that. Not a nice process, nothing is perfect.

    I really wanted to buy one of these when they first came out, seems like a great gun for the money. BUT im still put off by some of the reviews. It pretty much complete opposite ends of the spectrum. Either the gun works perfect (like these guys and a few others) or it completely breaks (like MAC and a few others). Im still on the fence with this gun...

    • @Chiller01
      @Chiller01 5 лет назад +1

      You have to evaluate the source. This video includes a representative of the company that has a lot of money invested in R&D and marketing this pistol. The guy on MAC has only his reputation at stake. He did not receive a free gun nor does he have any connection to the company. He gains or loses nothing if the gun succeeds or if it fails. I always give more credence to the report with less bias.

    @Frogbones Family Shooting Center - It seems like you guys have the only 2 SigP365 that are perfect, meanwhile the rest of the world has had many issues with them. My local ranges have had many P365 fail and it's not due to user error, the triggers have been malfunctioning. Why is it that even people with great gun experience also have issues with the P365? I've shot thousands and thousands of rounds from almost everything but a fighter jet or Tank, but the moment a P365 fails in my hands it's automatically user error. Even the stupid crappy Hi-Point pistol has less issues than the P365. Come on guys, I get it, you're salesmen trying to sell a gun, but the masses have spoken and we're sick of you salesmen trying to convince us the P365 is actually a reliable gun, even Sig Sauer doesn't believe the P365 is that reliable, why else would they stop production to try and fix their so called great reliable pistol?
    Not a good video, the BS is too much. Also I didn't see any of you grab a shell case and see if the primer strikes are dragging or not. What is Sig doing to fix the trigger issues? It's the triggers going dead that is the main cause of the P365's problems.

A friend of mine just traded his off after about 120 rds. The mags had scratches start to appear from an issue that's being reported and the primer drag was getting worse and worse. I still have some hope for the gun but it's not looking good at this point.

    • @bamasux253
      @bamasux253 6 лет назад +1

      The scratches on the mags are only cosmetic- and that end of the spring (in the magwell) is actually MORE securely attached than the other end where there were some springs coming loose because the end of the coils were cut too short. Sig has resolved the problem:

      When a shooter's wrist is not held firm/straight enough, the frame of the firearm travels rearward while the slide of the pistol cycles. In other words, the frame and the slide move backward together. This often results in a failure to complete the operating cycle and the gun will "jam".

    The user doesn't not know how to shoot is the reason for a gun's failure to operate? Absurd excuse. Here is how stupid these guys are.....Sig stopped production on this gun to resolve widespread quality issues. There were/are issues, they were so great that Sig stopped production, etc. Those are facts. For these guys to do a video to explain why the issues are all just our imagination, or, just user errors, is reckless. I've been shooting for 50 years and enjoyed countless types of guns. A quality, reliable weapon does not have excuses. Do these guys really believe they all of these "user errors" on the P365 occurs on every other firearm that they've ever shot? Hardly. The people that are encountering failures have shot a variety of guns and without such issues. The questions is "how gullible do these guys think people are?". These men need to learn some respect. Respect for the people who have encountered issues with a product that should be more reliable and higher quality. That is the bottom line. Their bias makes it easy for them to discount or criticize others. Have you ever called customer service and heard them say "well no one has ever had these problems". Well, we have.

      zerochaos360 “The user doesn’t know how to shoot is the reason for the gun’s failure to operate?”
      It is A (one of) the reasons the gun can fail to operate.
      “Absurd excuse”
      Not when they are showing their testing.
      Here is how stupid YOU are....
      “Sig stopped production on this gun to resolve “widespread” quality issues.”
      Instead of weasel words, maybe you should provide the numbers so that you don’t look like a moron? So what are the numbers? What percent of Sig365’s failed? Since you are using “widespread,” that number needs to be more than single digits.
      Sig stopped production to determine IF there were problems. In the modern age a manufacturer would do this because of how LOUD the ignorant minority is, instead of how LARGE the affected group is. Thank you for demonstrating this.
      You have no facts, you have conjecture and belief (acceptance of claims without evidence).
      SHOW ME THE EVIDENCE OR STFU.
      “For these guys to do a video to explain why the issues are all just our imagination, or, just user errors, is reckless.”
      No, it’s just fighting anecdata with anecdata...
      “I’ve been shooting 50 years...”
      I knew we’d be able to look forward to an argument from authority...
      How do you NOT recognize user error is THE MOST COMMON CAUSE of malfunctions?
      “The people that are encountering failures have shot a variety of guns and without such issues..”
      Citation please.
      At this point I’m stopping because your entire tirade has NO EVIDENCE. You are making claims, and flinging poo, but have nothing to support all this conjecture.
      Show me some hard data. I may be wrong. I can at least admit to that.
      But your ego and narcissism prevent you from making a well reasoned argument.
      YOU need to learn some respect... And how to make and support an argument.
      My three year old is more convincing.

      I live in New Hampshire, not too far from SIG. I have a good reliable source from SIG's Design and Engineering department, who has enlightened me as to the P365s record of late (Dec. 2018). He has informed me that since the end of summer, they have experienced one return for service/inspection. ONE. The gentleman stated that after firing 2000+/- rounds, the gun had ONE failure to go into battery. ONE TIME. As demonstrated, it could be 'limp-wristing'. Or maybe the gun was excessively dirty. Or perhaps, since the overall dimensions are small, the shooter's support hand dragged the thumb on the slide. To my point, however, is that SIG P365s go out the door and don't return for service inspection. He informed me that initially he believes that SIG 'rushed' to get it to SHOT Show 2018, and that the first production had some bugs. SIG has been EXTREMELY PROACTIVE in sorting this out, let's face it. Is it embarrassing? Sure! To be sure, I don't believe that SIG will make a dime off of these guns before 2020, given the warranty returns, and the bad initial public perception. That said, I trust my source and I have purchased one, taking it to the range for the first time today.

      I went to the range today, due to a short time constraint, I could only put 40 rounds through the gun. It performed flawlessly, and perceived recoil was not bad at all. Further testing to occur next week.
