Well thought out fashion points. To me, a pile of clothes can cause people to forget what they have and run out spending more money on the same or similar items. Also, having so many items crammed in your closet is a sign to start purging or donating.

I so agree with you ladies about planning ahead. When I was working I use to spend time on the weekend planning out my wardrobe for the next five days, down to shoes and accessories. (Many times I had to plan ahead, because I would be on the road for business travel) I would then line up these outfits on a clothes rack in order, Monday to friday. Check to make sure everything was clean, shoes were in good shape, no heels or soles wearing or they were taken to the cobbler. No stains, no wobbly buttons about to fall off, and jewelry was cleaned and polished. It is a simple thing to do, and all you needed was to get washed and dressed and out the door in the morning. Same goes for parties/special occasions, I always planned ahead, most of the time purchasing something appropriate. Lately, I have been expanding my shopping, pre-Covid. I had never ventured into Forever 21, H&M, or Walmart to purchase a piece of clothing, but I do now and I think they have some basics, that can be incorporated into my wardrobe, nicely. I do feel odd venturing into Forever 21, though. :-) But I have some basic black tees that are as good as I can get anywhere else. The thing I hate about this pandemic is not being able to try clothing on. It is so important to see how a piece of clothing fits your body type, but you just can't do that right now. What I am purchasing on line these days are styles, that I know already look good on me. Fortunately, I am not going anywhere, so it is not that important, basic tops and bottoms seem to be good enough for a trip to the doctors, dentist and hair salon. Thanks again, ladies.
Kelli and I did some online shopping pre-covid, however since then are now solely shopping online. You would be surprised how easy it is and it provides endless options in colors, prints, styles, and sizes that are not available in stores. Hopefully this info helps. 😊
Anita, I used to do that too. It was such a relief to not have to worry what to wear for the day when I had set up the entire work week. I sort of miss those days! Maybe I should do that for my normal, not working anymore days. I tend to wake up and see what I'm in the mood for since it doesn't matter. LOL

Im so glad I came across you ladies. Ive been meaning to clean out my closet and get rid of things I dont wear. I have so much room now! And I found some cute things I had that I never put together as an outfit til I started watching you two. Im 5'2" and 55 years old. I went to Target yesterday and got myself some high rise skinny jeans and those wedge sneakers! Oh and of course a long cardigan! (Things I never wouldve thought of getting) Love!

Hi Ladies, Another tip, replace inexpensive buttons with better quality buttons. Plastic buttons just look cheap. Its easy and it also sets your garment apart.

I love your videos. I like the mixing of high end and more afffordable. Ok, that said, Kelly, you need to remove the yellow in your hair with purple shampoo. Maybe do a video of how it turns out.
So glad you are enjoying the videos. I do use purple shampoo as well as toner and have added lowlights. I get compliments everyday on my hair color in real life unfortunately, sometimes the color does not translate the same on camera. So sorry it is not to your liking.
The women to look at are the French women. Everything they do looks understated and looks like there was not a lot of fuss when indeed there has been a lot of thought put into their outfits. This is done through wearing classic pieces with a little something that has a unique detail in it. There are several youtube channels that are done by French women who let us know regularly, just like you ladies, how to dress in style. You gave a lot of great tips. Just taking care of your clothing and making sure it fits you is a big thing.

Great points especially fit of the clothes . Also the manicure , there is nothing worse then seeing chipped nail polish or worse yet outrageous nail length or crazy polish.

I’m 60 and my favorite is H&M, my 80-year old Mom turned me on to them. I was so often disappointed by mature brands, their colors and patterns are weird, fit is too long in tops, jewelry is too oversized for my petite face and height, etc. I also shop at Old Navy and Loft a lot. It’s possible to find classics at all of these stores.

This is so true of one of my besties.
Loving these tips, because they are sensible and ring very true for me. I think all women, at a certain point in our lives, succumb to trends or last minute desperate shopping. 😓 I so appreciate getting older and wiser!! I am 70 but I am always told that I look 50, do you have any suggestions for me. I still wear jeans, love long sleeve tops. I also live in Florida on the east coast not far from the ocean so I wear casual

Another trick that stylish women have is they have a go to wardrobe. Something they can reach into and have options that all go together. Neutrals rock with a pop of color be that in a handbag or accessories or even a top or slacks. Is much easier to shop when you have the basics to mix and match with. Instead of searching to find that perfect shade of something that will pick up a color they will wear a neutral that compliments the color. But it also makes getting dressed easier and packing for a vacation a breeze. Once you have the basics you can play with styles or trends without appearing like you are trying to hard and can pick and choose the trends you wear or pass on without fear of wearing it wrong. Love the skin you are in and love the wardrobe that reflects who you are and what you want to see the world to see in you.

Here are some other tips:
• Wear shaping undies or Spanx
• Draw attention to your best assets with v-necks, jewelry or by showing off great legs
• Wear cardigans or jackets
• Wear long lean columns of color (monotones)
• Don't wear anything tight over your mid-section. But don't wear tents either

Yes they did file for bankruptcy however were jointly acquired by three companies that enabled them to reorganize their business. 😊

Depends on where in South Florida. There are two big outlet malls. Sawgrass Mills which is huge and located in Sunrise, Florida. They have a designer area if you want as well. The other outlet mall is Dolphin Mall much smaller and that one is in West Miami.
Aventura Mall is fairly big as well in Aventura which is in between Dade and Broward County. Good luck!
