I thank you for the walk through this national park. I am doing treadmill walks and watching RUclips walking videos to try and get healthier. There are 63 national parks with those words in the name. I'm virtual walking one every Saturday and am very happy I found your video.
Great to hear and sound like a good challenge. You can search for your national park walks on our website and more if you are interested. Keep on Steppin’ -H
After all the snowy walks this is stunning to see, the rock colour really stands out against the beautiful blue skies, thank you Henry for a great tour, CMW 🚶♀️🚶♂️🚶♀️
Utah certainly has some impressive natural settings, and this Arches national Park is amazing. These rock formations are wonderful, I would love to take a hike in there 😍👍
They are! And, there are 4 more parks and tons of other public land to hike and explore including lots of majestic slot canyons. Definitely a place to go in Spring and Fall though. Cheers -H
Wow! Thank you again for these wonderful walks! The landscapes in Utah are jaw dropping, I am throughly enjoying walking on my treadmill while viewing them. Some of the distant rock formations reminded me of massive ruined castles that had been battered by many battles. Wonderful! Best wishes from northern England. 👍
Thanks so much and so glad you appreciate this landscape. It really is all inspiring. Hope you get to visit there in person someday. All the best to you. - H
I really enjoy your nature videos. Thank you for taking the time and effort to make such scenic videos for everyone to watch while walking on the treadmill or in place like I do.
Thank you. I was behind you all the way on my stationary bike. I wish I was younger to revisit Arches. When last there, I focused on seeing the arches and missed this delight. I would love to hike this trail.
Hi John, glad you enjoyed it. I was really pleased with finding this one as well. And to have it almost to myself was fantastic. Such a great park, isn't it? Cheers, -H
Beautiful landscape. Thank you for walking here. As I was watching it I kept thinking that Arches exists because of eons of nature's ability to shape the earth. Hard to wrap my head around how long it must have taken. You mentioned cairns, and I once read a book about cairns ( Cairns by David Williams) in which he wrote that whenever you move a rock the ecology under that rock is permanently damaged. Take care and convey my greetings to Brodie.
Henry, I said this before, but I love your walks in nature! Great to hear you so (quietly) elated, btw. What I particularly like about your videos that they are so real, I imagine myself doing the walk. No editing, no music - so grateful for that. Thanks again from Europe!
Awesome, thank you! I am consciously trying to find a balance between being my real self and not annoying viewers. Glad I came out on the right side in this one. :-) -H
Amazing landscapes. They just take my breath away. Thank you for being our proxy walker and taking us on this stunning adventure Henry! As always, perfect pace. Love the fact you got turned around and lost the path. That would be something I would do. Too focused on everything else. You made me giggle when you shushed yourself. I’m not sure if someone has said you talk too much, but I’ve always felt you had the perfect balance. The video was outstanding. Not sure what kind of set up you were using but I loved that it had no distortion around the edges. Keep on stepping!
Thanks so much Arlene. So glad you enjoyed it and the talking isn't too much. I get a comment every week or so from people who prefer the silent versions but I haven't figured out how to do both, or to keep quiet, so talking it is. :-) Have a great day and thanks again. -H
This one is now on my favorites list. (I find the experience so immersive that I have to force myself to look up at the scenery instead of watching "our" footing for safety!)
I've always wanted to see Arches NP so I loved this walk and look forward to following along with you on many more. By the way, you mention that this is ideal for treadmill walkers (and I do have a treadmill) but it is also great for exercise bikes. I just pivot mine into position to face my widescreen monitor (raised to eye level on the bike) and pedal along at a walking pace with enough resistance set to make it a good workout for me. It still gives me that feeling of actually being there. Please bring us more of your wonderful walks!
Did you feel like an ant walking through the limestone landscape Going through that dry riverbed on the return journey was interesting Was half expecting to be attacked by native Indians or middle of shootout lol Beautiful awesome landscape yes love the open doors that is Super Cool and nothing wrong of you using that That is totally you and awesome and a lot of times I am right there with you SUPERCOOL 😀 keep on stepping
Thanks so much Kevin. Yes the scale of the place really blew my mind. Such natural beauty. Thanks for watching and comment. Keep on stepping in and stay super cool 😎😁 -H.
There are so many beautiful and unique landscapes in North America and this is one of the best ones. We hope to visit it one day 🤞 so thank you for a walk around. Is there any advice you could give for people who plan to visit this place?
Yes, plan ahead and make reservations early. I had the park to my self in March but at the end of the month it was packed with no hotels or campgrounds available. Take plenty of water as well. -H
Nice nature trail! Majestic Rockies! Just be careful with rattlesnakes lurking on hidden crevices. It seems you are heading towards some old downtowns in Utah? I miss your walk in Salt Lake City.
Great job. I was in this place about 12 years ago. I remember it as one of the most impressive places that I have seen. Do you have any other video of the area of the Double Arch and the Balanced Rock?
It's amazing area. I only walked this trip in Arches and through Moab. I have two more walks coming up to Landscape Arch and the Windows loop. I'd love to get back and do some more filming. Oh, I have a couple from Zion as well. Hope that will spur some memories too. -H
@@CityWalks I enjoy all your videos, obviously most of them are from places that I have not visited, but Zion and Yellowstone I have visited them, and your recordings remind me beautiful moments. Thanks for everything

I can’t believe how blue the sky is 😀 everything looks so beautiful there but you must be tired after this 😅
I did three more walks after this one😀. It was so beautiful and the walking was fairly easy. -H

Actually, I walked a couple of trails in Arches, then Moab, then home. I've got one from Kanab coming up in a couple of weeks though. -H

Hey, you didn’t by chance hike to the giant arch ?
I'm not familiar with that one. In another walk, I go out to Landscape Arch which is pretty wide. Can you send me a link to Google Maps? -H
@@CityWalks the arch that’s on the Utah licence plate. The famous one not sure of name
It’s 2 miles from where you started in parking lot
Are there any rattlesnakes there
I didn't see any but I have to imagine they are around in the warmer weather. -H
What an amazing place. Thank You for sharing it with us
Our pleasure! so glad you enjoyed it -H
