It's been a while I walked with you! But I came back 😊 What a nice start of walk!!! 😊 These rocks incredible 😊 I love hiking! And happy to see, that you too 😊 Thank you, Henry! 😊
Welcome back! I've been away from your channel as well and this is a good reminder to check out Moscow and Russia again. Thanks and hope you are both well. -H
It's such a stunning park and still very accessible to most people. Even taking the bus and getting off at the various stops is worth it. And lots of restaurants and hotels just outside the park.
Wow another great video thanks a lot for like 100 it’s wonderful to see all of these magnificent place is natural places thanks a lot and see you soon your new fan here from Paris France 🇫🇷 Jean see you soon 🔜
Oh my goodness! The views are just stunning. 12:51 that person is giving me anxiety sitting on that very low wall. I’m so afraid of heights so thanks for being so brave so that people like me can experience such beauty!
Yeah, heights are tough. I was only brave enough to do the easy part though. The chains along the last half mile were too much for me. Thanks for watching and commenting. -H
Always nice to hear your voice, Henry. Beautiful walk with majestic landscapes, loved it. Season’s greetings to you and your family. Best wishes from northern England. 🎄🎄🎄
Hi Doug. I hope you get a chance to do it in person. Even if you don't go out on the chains, the walk up and back is pretty amazing. Thanks for the reminder as well!! -H
Great video. Not a hike I'll be doing (well....maybe the beginning part) but one I was always curious about. A trail that's bit too crowded for my liking but very beautiful. Thanks for posting. Really enjoy your videos....they keep me 'treadmill motivated'.
Glad to hear they are keeping you motivated Judy. The trail up to the chains is actually very safe and easy (though a bit steep in places). I couldn't do the chains section but my wife and son did it without injury. [shiver]. The views are spectacular. -H
I spent 4 winters in my RV just outside of Zion. It is one of my favorite places in the country but far too busy now to fully enjoy. Thank you for sharing - good memories for me :) There are over 5,000 archaeological sites and many pictographs in and around Zion.
I bet those were some pretty nice winters. All the parks seem to be way more crowded now. A good and a bad thing. Lots of other great state parks though, and other public lands to enjoy but Zion sure is special. -H
@@CityWalks My first winter there in 2015 at the resort 15 miles to the west, there were 20 RVs there for the winter. By 2017 the resort was 100% booked for the next winter before the 2017 snowbird season ended. I guess I got spoiled feeling like I had ZP to myself :) It is a very special place - so glad it is preserved for all to experience.
Best one yet Henry!! Absolutely gorgeous scenery and commentary was great! Down 20 lbs now and hope to get another 10. Will definitely keep on steppin’ after that as well.
Wow! Good work Steve. No easy feat. I’m glad to be helpful in that journey and glad to meld your treadmill travel a little bit less dull. Cheers to you! -H
Thanks for sharing this walk Henry. I'm fascinated by erosions ability to shape landscapes into natural beauty. I drove cross country back in the 90's, mostly via Rt. 80, which goes through Utah. I was completely surprised by how amazing Utah was, and am happy to see it again in all your Utah walks. The park was a little busy on you walk. Do you think natural beauty is enhanced by solitude?
So glad you've gotten to see the area in it's glory. Yes, I think natural beauty is greatly enhanced by solitude but there are so many of us that it's a challenge to find places like that. Our national parks are seeing record attendance which is a good thing in that hopefully those people will start making natural areas and the environment a priority. But, we are also loving these places to death. It's a strange conundrum. If you ever get the chance, I highly recommend Zion and Southern Utah. It's pretty amazing. -H

Beautiful to see they're maintaining the paths so well!
They do a very good job and maintaining the park, especially given the numbers of people who visit. Thanks for watching! -H
I normally walk with you (up and down a yoga mat!) but this one is so stunning I just sat and stared. Amazing, thank you.
You're so welcome! Such wonderful praise, more for the nature where it is deserved. So glad you enjoyed it. -H

Greetings from NC. Been planning a road trip to a lot of the national parks out west for a while and I hope I make it one day.
You should! They are a national treasure and they belong to us. This one is a gem for sure. Glad you enjoyed it. p.s. I grew up in Wilmington. -H

One of my dreams is to do Angels Landing. In my mind I know I could but I’m like you the last part of the trail may test my wit and my fear of heights
Hi Judy. That last bit is pretty intimidating but remarkably few people get injured considering the number of people who do it. -H

Not this time of year. It was pretty chilly. I'm not sure what summer is like but I don't hear much about snakes on these popular paths. -H

No fun to watch because of all the geoengineered skies. What a mess.
