  • Today, let's explore the various ways cats express their affection towards you. Cats, depending on their personalities, may show their love in direct and obvious ways or in more subtle and timid manners. Many people think their cats don't express affection, or even that their cats are afraid of or dislike them. However, this may be because they are not familiar with the ways cats show their love. In fact, cats often express a lot of interest and affection towards their owners.
    Whether your cat is outgoing and bold or shy and timid, they have unique ways of showing love. Let's discover what these ways are.
    Observing from a Distance: Shy and timid cats may find it difficult to approach people directly. These cats maintain a certain distance while observing their owners. This shows that, despite being scared, they want to be in the same environment as their owners.
    Sleeping Nearby: When a cat chooses to sleep near you, it is a significant expression of affection. Cats feel most vulnerable when they are sleeping, so they only sleep near those they trust completely.
    Rubbing Against You: When a cat rubs against you or even against furniture, it's a way of marking their social territory and expressing affection. Shy cats might not approach you directly but will rub against objects to show their love.
    Climbing on Your Lap or Face: When a cat climbs onto your lap or puts their bottom near your face, it’s a significant gesture in the cat world. It shows trust and respect towards you.
    Staring into Your Eyes: When a shy cat approaches and looks at you intently, it's a sign of affection. Cats do not approach people they are wary of, so this behavior indicates they like you.
    Bringing Toys: If your cat brings toys to you or places them on your bed, it's a gesture of affection. It’s like a gift, indicating, "I caught something for you."
    Lying Belly-Up: When a cat suddenly lies on its back showing its belly, it’s saying, "I trust you, please pet me." This is a significant show of trust and affection.
    Headbutting: When a cat headbutts you or other cats, it’s a display of affection. This is a polite greeting in the cat world.
    Responding to Your Voice: When a cat responds to your voice, it's a sign of affection. Over time, with consistent talking, cats begin to respond.
    Tail Up: When a cat approaches with its tail held high, it means they are happy and excited to see you. This is a sign of affection and should be met with a warm greeting.

    46년째 양이랑 지내고 있어요. 친구로 받아들여야 한다고 생각합니다. 눈 인사 하나만 있으면 감사합니다.

    우리 냥자매들 11월 생인데도 다 해버리는 사랑둥이들이었네요^^아빠가 개를 좋아해서 개 엄청 키웠는데도...반려동물들에게 엄마아빠라고 칭하는걸 이해하지 못했는데...급 행복해지네요/ 지금도 언니는 제 옆에서, 동생은 봉이 옆에서 잠들어 있어요. 이녀석들 보통 지금 주무시는 시간...어즈께 심심해 몸무게 쟀는데 7키로라 넘 놀라 사료량 확 줄이려는데 할수 있을지 모르겠어요.^^;
