Thank you. Yes if it looks watery then I have added water. I do not often use a special medium. There is no need if you are careful with water. If you are unsure then there are glazing mediums. I have the glazing medium from Golden and it works great.

You need no luck 😘 just paint and a brush and do exactly what I did. I am kidding I wish you luck that the paint works like you wish and the brush did not his own thing.

thank you. They are from Golden the heavy body ones. And the Daler Rowneys system 3. Yes the experiment with the polychromos is a fail.

It's the light reflection. So it looks more 3D.

I would not. Pigments are toxic and acrylics contains fungicide and stuff.

The size matters to the size of the rock. Usually Size 6, 2, 0 and 0/5. Brands are Golden (heavy body) and Daler Rowney. Thank you.

Where do you get these kind of rocks? Our craft stores only have rock rocks not flat
I collect them at a river beach for free. But have a look at ebay maybe you find some.
What was that thing that you cover it? Can I use a clear nail polish?
I used Liquitex gloss varnish, red bottle. Nail polish is not light-fast.
