Movies should be filmed like this, so we can control the scene, i would pay $5 more if a movie in theatres was filled this way and i had a controller. HO WAIT!that's VIDEO GAMES

Can’t be done yet unfortunately. You’d turn and you’d be looking at the studio and the rigging and the cameras and the crew and the giant air conditioner the lights the cables and the crew. It would take so much more time to set up for shots using a 360 camera. Plus, the variety of lenses we use to get certain things out of a shot aren’t available for these cameras atm.
This was absolutely a phenomenal short experience in a VR headset. I mean it's nothing like watching Cloverfield as some suggest. In VR it's a whole different perspective when you're in the environment along side the characters running away from the Kaiju. It's such a damn shame they don't do full movies like this.
Love the idea of how it grows every time it gets hurt
No more big screens, just 10k resolution Oculus rift and good surround sound. The future of movies

Watching this on iPad air2 is the next best thing to a VR headset. You can turn around to see what's behind you and it's like holding a little window if you know what I mean.

@Leandro Aude Well yeah, I already know that. I was mostly asking because I assume that all videos, while having stereo coming through a mono (both L&R) cable to a device that transfers the sound to me, do not have binaural sound unless specifically stated.
I assume this is SUPPOSED to have the binaural stuff?
Is the world in general, in real life, binaural?
