Here is a short driving tour of Salado, Texas with some history of the town. Home of several breweries, wineries, art galleries and shopping. Great place to get away.
I drove thru Salado a while back and I saw this old Ford pick up truck with patina parked on the side of the road. Must have been siting there for years. I wrote down the address but I lost it. You don't happen to know where it is? You seem to know the town well. Thanks

Salado is a village. You can walk around with your alcoholic beverage. The Barton House restaurant is recommendable.

I'm not familiar with it. Is it on main street? I'm only about 20 miles away and go through there quite often.
