Devastator is a great character to play with , in any mode as well ! And i think , Swoop is another great character to use , because when you use one of is two character move to enter a space , you can't be ambush ! Great video by the way !
Devastator and the constructicons were a blast to play as! Always so much fun seeing what new mechanics a character has and how they thematically represent them. I’ve got to look deeper into the Dinobots. I haven’t tried any of them yet, but VERY excited to see them in action.
Love Devastator is so.... massive! One question: How many "Transform and Roll out" can i buy in a single turn? There is some kind of limit? One per turn, or per roud or something like that....
I don’t see anything that limits the amount you can buy other then how many are in the stack. If you got 8 power and want 4 of them, go for it! It’s just when the pile is gone, there are no more available for purchase.
Great video. I live in the UK and just got A Rising Darkness and the two expansions delivered. I had the core set already. I love finally getting to play the bad guys! I just got bodied with Bludgeon yesterday. This video is a great tutorial on how to use Devastator. Looking forward to getting War On Cybertron later in the year too!

I’m with you, excited for War on Cybertron. The one thing I wish for is a crossover expansion. GI Joe got one with the transformers, but those cards don’t work in the transformers’ game.
@@homegamerdad yeah I’ve been keeping my fingers crossed for a crossover too. Surely it must inevitable? They’ve done a My Little Pony and Transformers crossover so surely the Transformers must be getting a turn soon! I love the idea of combining the decks and have found your video about it which is great too. I’ve just been reading through the Infiltration Protocol cards. There is some amazing stuff in there!
@@homegamerdadot for points, but it still exists, even in solo play. The reason being is there are cards that will interact with your vault (such as Ultra Magnus), no matter what mode your playing. And you wouldn't be able to retrieve cards from your destroyed pile that are actually in your vault. I was just pointing something out to help you play a more accurate game for your viewers who may not understand that fact. My suggestion so that new players don't get the wrong idea is for you to preface your game regarding your "ignoring the vault" house rule.

Slash is a Boss, which is what she’s defined as in game terms. Her card (and other bosses) doesn’t say “Autobot robot”, so cards/effects that target Robots can’t target her, nor do I need to beat her before fighting other bosses.

Devestator is range 0 for his 2 power this is an error also shockwave has no basic movement in alt mode and ultra magnuses abilities both cost 2 wish they fixed these errors in some way
No, he had Power 2 Range 1 while in Combined mode. The card is correct, the rulebook is wrong. This is 100% confirmed by Dan Blanchett, one of the game’s designers. Look up “Devastator Balance?” thread on BGG, this is where he says it. Devastator in combined mode has a native Power 2, Range 1. I don’t know about Shockwave and Ultra Mangus, I’ll have to look them up and ask.

Bots you defeat go to your vault and destroyed cards go to a destroyed pile. They are two different things in the game.
Indeed, and the vault doesn’t mean anything for solo/cooperative play if you’re not scoring points.
