- Hi my dears, I am going to show you in this tutorial how to crochet dinosaur. This is part 2 where I will show you how to make the body of dinosaur and horns.

You'll need two balls of chenille yarn for the main part of dinosaur and if you want one ball of the other color of yarn for horns and paws.

safety eye buttons if you want (1.5 cm) amzn.to/33eBulS
yarn needle, stitch marker, pair of scissors, sewing thread and pins with large head.

The sides shift when you start all your belly decreases at the same spot, instead of centering them. Very frustrating. I need to start over. No, I'm not encouraged to buy your pattern. I don't expect it to be different.

maam, you said this is beginner friendly but honestly so hard to follow. since the first part. i really confused at the decrease part cause you said “both sides” and “back side”. but which one are those??? you didn’t give which chains they’re in 😭
Oh I feel sorry it’s confusing for you 🙁 I know I did not explain the pattern well. I have a written patter. There it is clear. The beggining of the round is the front part of the face. Sorry if you like dino and you are not able to make dino following the video because it’s confusing..

I am confused on the decrease, it said, decrease 2 and 1 each side and back, what’s that mean?
I do not know what round you mean but it means you have to decrease twice on the belly part, once on both sides and once on the back side so it means you have to decrease 5 times in total..

Hi, thanks so much for this tutorial. I am making this for a friend’s newborn baby so that he might have it through childhood years. It started coming out larger than I expected so I started over using my smallest crochet hook which is 3.25mm and it is still larger than I intended. I’m having trouble figuring out exactly how to position the head right now, but I’ll get there. I do like yours much better than mine so far but maybe when I’m finished it’ll look better. I do wish you explained some things better but I’ve been crocheting for several years now and I’m pretty confident I can fill in the blanks. Overall this is an adorable little Dino.

Hello! When I am joining the rounds, do I join each round with a slip stitch, or go directly into the top stitch with a single crochet? Thanks!
Hello, it’s up to you if you want to finish every round with slip stitch or work in a round as me 😉
How balls of yarn did you use total?
Hello. I used one ball of the green color of yarn (just little amount of the ball) and two balls of the turquoise one.
min 1:32 my yarn broke like 5 times, i cannot pull it :(
Oh so try to not tighten at all and make sure you crochet sc over the starting tail..if it will be still hard for you no problem..you can use other method. Watch my single video 😉 you can also make the ring just from couple of chains.
