I remember watching this program on CBC back in the 80's while growing up in Golden BC . Living in Fernie BC now for nearly 30 years, I find so much value and cultural significands from programs like this .More - so as I grow older and continue to explore fascinating local history and appreciate the toll and turbulence of that era, craftsmanship and quality . I wish there was more of this content available on the internet these days.

Too funny, as I’m watching this I am camping overnight at the smoke stack in Greenwood. No trains to run me over any more. Such a cool town!😎

Hey! Rode through the boundary last year on a motorcyle and fell in love. My wife and I have just sold our place in Calgary and actively seeking property in the area. We are fascinated with the rich history of the boundary and this channel has made for hours of excellent education and insight. THANK YOU!!! Well done!

This is super cool. My aunt lives in greenwood up mccarren creek road. There’s lots of really old homesteads up there that are so beautiful to explore. Not recommended to go up there unless invited.

Hey Colin I live in the Okanagan and am wondering if you know if it is possible to get this series on dvd? My Dad used to watch this all the time when I was a kid and I would like to get it for him.

Actually, the man killed in the holdup was Carl Thomet's father, Charles Thomet. This occurred on August 25th, 1908.

Strange they didn't do one on Trail BC with all the history.

Would have thought New Dener or Silverton would be the smallest incorporated town
