I’m going to BK this Nov. Back in Nov 2019, I stayed at Ambassador Hotel on Sois 11. It was $50/ night then. I heard it’s still $50/night today. I recommend it! It’s 4 star hotel and easily walking distance to Nana Plaza and Sois Cowboy.

My first time to go abroad Dec 2006 and it was in Bangkok , Thailand it's a package tour and for only 20k pesos for 4 days and 3 nights . We stayed at Arnoma Hotel a five star hotel also and my first time to stay in the hotel. It looks like Heritage Hotel outside. We have a buffet breakfast everyday which starts from 7 am 10 am. We have a free tour of thevbuddist temple around Bangkok and king power duty free . In the afternoon we roam around in our own. . We also visited the tallest building in southeast Asia The Bayokke at that time and the whole of Bangkok that night was a nice view! Vlogging was not so popular then so what I have were pictures only.
I was in this hotel 1 month ago its so perfect and clean and the view from high floor amazing Bangkok view i loved it my first ever trip to thailand and am really happy to be there
Only issue round the are is that Talad Neon now closed so a lot less food choice, also the street market outside is much less than usual. I prefer Novotel Ploenchit and Sofitel Sukkumvit. In Sofitel did staycation, so got 1000 baht voucher to spend in roof bar/day and 30 min free massage per day (can accumulate) (1hr usually about 2500B)
Stayed here a few times...best place in BKK, nightmarket just around the corner and close to some great malls..good quality hotel and friendly staff..best of all..it is Thailand..what more could you ask for?!
My go to Hotel every year when in bkk when on my way to Patong the berkley located pratunum area shopping malls high end and low end, wholesale clothing market next door food markets next door .a 15 min walk to siam paragon siam food court excellent affordable prices .Area high end ..was paying aroung NZ $110.00 back pre covid. if you manage to get a room for $30.00 its a steel a fantastic Hotel fantastic pool and gym facilities. i do recommend you ask to stay in the main tower newer and easier to access and i must mention the buffet breakfast world class, you will not stop eating until you are content , and your next meal will be dinner. I was paying bht350 the last time i stayed in 2019 excellent customer care the higher level you stay the better panoramic views of bangkok wow i am so looking forward to the day i can return thank you for uploading this video my friend .
We stayed there and it was great but please note that walk in without any booking is $100...per night...the breakfast Buffett was worth the price I will add...and the room was excellent...so top stars but it is $100 a night if not booked online...

From Agoda I checked random days (13.-16.2.2022) and the price was for two 149 euros / 1900 baht per night which is quite normal price. The room is average, bath and the free toothbrush is normal thing. I would like to see the breakfast buffet - that’s the reason to pay over 1000 baht per night at Thailand.
During these pandemic times many hotels have no other options than to offer discounted price. When normal tourists start coming , when normal times return, they will increase the price . That is business. Normal tourists are not interested.
u talk rubbish..........sorry. Hotels in Thailand have a tendency to put prices UP during lean times not down. The hotels that are catering for tourists during the pandemic have upped their costs too and are making hay whie the sun shines.
Agreed! We booked the same Berkeley Hotel Bangkok through Agoda and it's now over US$50.00 per night for twin-sharing. It's considered cheap as compared to other equivalent standard hotels.
Initially, I thought this was the Grande Centre Point Hotel at Terminal 21. The hotels are very similar and both quite beautiful with excellent locations. I've stayed at both and they are superb!👍 Perhaps they are sister hotels. Cheers! 🇹🇭
I used to stay at Marriott U SA Sheraton too They were all so expensive. Can't believe how cheap the hotels in Banfkok are. At seaside hotels they are very expensive too.

Hello Mike, the vlog was filmed last year when there was the test and go. Prices changes according to the season and demands, but the best price always to search on agoda or trivago, and compare. So hopefully you will get a good deal

Looks like a nice hotel, and maybe a great value but certainly not the best. I've stayed at the St. Regis Bangkok --of course at the St. Regis you pay for the exceptional service and subdued manner and quiet design. Right now it is $210/night.
Might be the cheapest 5-star hotel in the world. When in Thailand, I usually just stay at 3-star hotels and save some $$$ since I only need a clean room. The service is generally pretty good in Thailand even if staying at 3-star hotels.

I have stayed at iCheck Inn Sukhumvit 19. I can recommend it. It's clean and the location is fantastic, just one block from Asoke BTS/MRT station and Central 21 Mall.
Good evening! Returning to Bangkok for my first time since 2019 and was excited to see this at $30 per nigt (from 1 yr ago) as that is my max budget. When I used google search for Jan 14 on prices are mostly $60-84, saw Kayak as cheapest as $54 plus tax. Where did you get the $30 price? Was this in a lower season than now? Sorry, this hotel is The Berkeley Hotel Pratunam located in Pratunam. It's not Grande Centre Point Hotel which located in Asoke Sukhumvit.
