I really want sisterlocs, but I have thin hair and I am VERY concerned about the potential for my hair to interlock and need to be separated, thus causing my hair to thin even more. I never thought of that. Whew.... thanks again! This is a lot to consider. Geesh....

Of all the videos I have looked at, yours was THE most informative. You covered a lot of concerns I had questions about. I have braid locks installed by myself and am 4 moths into it. I love them, but I am frustrated because, like you, I have heard so many conflicting things, and you touched on them all. I am in the process of finding someone to consult with to maintain them. @@opalmaytoday5625 No Queen, you didn't miss it. I've been ill this week, but I will post it tomorrow. It's a jump rope challenge. 1,000 jumps each day, for a week. I'll be going live each afternoon...around 5pm each day, except this Thursday. Next will be the 30 minute hoola hoop challenge.

Love your video, you’re passing on great advice! Your locks and jewelry are beautiful! Any current pics? I’m about 27 months into my journey, I’m still braiding and banding. Like you, my scalp did not like the starter shampoo. I was finally switched to the salon shampoo a few months ago. Hair is in the locking stage but doing great. Sisterlocks are all about patience.
Thanks so much! I really enjoyed my Sisterlocks, but I am now sporting traditional locks. I combined a bunch of my locs...just wanted thicker locs and a better foundation. I'll try to upload a more current video...my editing app acts up a lot, and I get frustrated and never post.🤦🏾♀️ My apologies. I'll do better

I DIY’d my microlocs and they are larger than most microlocs and definitely bigger than sisterlocs. I hope you have found a routine and a loctitian. I have been using Dr. Bronner’s shampoos exclusively since I became lox’s. No dandruff and I can go weeks without oiling my scalp if I do choose. I love this shampoo and recommend it. I have locs that allow me to go 12 weeks without retie. I worked up from every 4 weeks to 6 weeks to 8 weeks and now 12. I had itching during the first month like you described. I used peppermint essential oil and a couple drops of tea tree oil mixed in with a carrier oil like almond oil or grape seed oil or my favorite Jamaican black castor oil. My locs are my love! I like that you are adorning your locs with jewelry. Enjoy your journey!!

I just filled out and mailed the form. They sent it to me, it took about a month for me to get it but I have it. Girl I would NOT have paid no $30 for that thing.... my REAL one doesn’t cost that much! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Thank you so much! No, I'm not concerned about the holes from the jewelry. I only put them on the locs that have completely locked. My hair is about 80% locked right now. My real struggle are the "twin dragons " I currently have. I combined at least 20 of my locs a few weeks ago.😊
