I want to believe in karma but sometimes it seems that there are a lot of jerks out there who live completely happy lives and they don't have to face any consequences of their actions. Life can be pretty unfair.

They're just different than the average folk, their entire lives are driven in a faster and parallel type of lane, with a different type of travel and destiny than you and me. The neighbor's grass always looks greener, doesn't it? and the punishment they get for their actions its the same as what they take for granted, which is (seemingly) entirely disproportional. You wouldn't want to walk a mile in their shoes if you could see that, trust me.
Some religions teach that we relive life over and over until we get the lesson and ascend back to the Source. If people are repeating their lives then there's no other life I would want to live other than my own. This is my chance to get it right, sounds fair to me. Trust me, i got heavily karma checked once in my life; And this might sound crazy but, i think it was one of the most important things that ever happened in my life, and I'm glad i was important enough for some people to go through that. Most people are never checked in their lifetime simply because they never do anything mesmerizing enough to partake in such an experience, which can be translated to, they're content enough passing their entire worthless lives playing checkers , putting 100% every game just to win one or two, without even realizing others around them are playing chess, like its nothing, everyday in their lives, and winning. At least i can say i was courageous enough to try the big table, even though i failed. (Im only 20 anyway, so i have a lot of time to get back at my feet)

If another person is more "spiritually evolved" than another, it means they did something to get there, in this life or in the others. You give the fish to the fisherman and you give the plumber his plumbing. Everyone has something unique that the other will never have, called a different perspective, which was the result of infinite amount of possible outcomes that are the result of an infinitesimally small sequence of possible events in an even smaller exact and specific sequence of time.
