Yes Ellen! If you marry a French you basically become a French. My Aunt went with her husband to France and came back with a French accent and speaks to her son in French.
Ont legaly no. Normally y ou have to ask for thé nationality on the fifth year after your wedding. I know I'm un the situation my self ;)
And it's not that easy becoming French !

Pat Dee Yes you still have your own personnality roots, family background and nationality, but when you marry a French person you can get the French nationality as well if you want and gain the rights the natives automatically have :) Therefore you become French, but before that you have to pass a test meant to evaluate your knowledge of the language and some basic history facts, as well as the hymn of the country :) It's fairly easy. And if one of the parents is French, then any child you will have will be born French, even if he/she is delivered in another country: they will then have two nationalities.

+Carpe Diem Yes because she speaks it from a long time.And the italian accent for a lot of lenguages is really "adaptable".French is one of those lenguages.And then if you heard well,she still has a bit of italian accent.But like, you can barely listen to it
+Carpe Diem Italian is her mother language but she lives in France since a very young age which makes her perfectly bilingual. She speaks french without any particular Italian inflection but then when she speaks English she absolutely has an Italian accent.
