Thank you everyone for all the kind words. This really was a labor of love for Daryl & I , and a whole lot of labor for Daryl. So many of the Christmas pieces have been collected for years and many of the feather trees were Christmas presents to me from Daryl. I saw comment asking how there were stored. Sometime I do have to fold up the branches but many of the small ones fit in the top compartment of my mule chests, blanket chests, and there is a cupboard space behind the fireplace. I try not to fold them up any more than I have to. Again we really appreciate the kind words. Merry Christmas everyone
I dont think i could say any part was my favorite. I simply loved every square inch of it. Ive always dreamt that some day I'd be living that way with an antique shop. I'm 73 and that's not going to happen so I'll just keep filling my 120 yr old victorian house with primitive antiques lol.
Living in a log home is my dream lifestyle. This home is perfection for those who choose this lifestyle. Such beauty in every room and the work they have done is exceptional. Thank you sharing this unique home with us.
The feather trees alone have me speechless. The home is a masterpiece in early American history. So inspiring and certainly worthy of another watch to glean ideas.
Most definitely. I said earlier, I could do a whole video from each room! Beautiful pieces and artfully displayed, but not staged. It felt very natural to the house.
Appreciate the birthday wishes for our niece! It really is incredible. They are looking forward to adding on for a full kitchen at some point. I can't wait to see that!
Wow! Yes I'm speechless. I would love to sit in each room for hours and admire the beauty and handy work that has been preserved for us to enjoy. Many thanks to Leisa for allowing us to visit her home and of course thanks to you for bringing it to us.
I agree, beautiful and so much to take in, in every corner! Just uploaded the video of her shop. Hope you'll check it out, and don't hesitate to share our videos on pages you think would enjoy!
This was a wonderful home. I really enjoyed seeing the home and the wonderful antiques. I was quite amazed by the size of the logs and truly loved those old windows!
You literally have to watch this video several times, and each time you rewatch it you see details that you didn’t see the first time everything is worthy of enjoying and seeing
What a beautiful home! The antique samplers had my little cross-stitcher's heart going pitter-patter. 😍 Somehow the house is perfectly staged and presents the antiques in a way that would make some pro decorators jealous, but still seems exceptionally homey and welcoming at the same time. I think it would be impossible not to feel the Christmas spirit sitting in that house, especially at night where I imagine the lighting and coziness transform it into something magical. Thank you for the tour! I have a lot of new ideas for my own house brewing now, lol.
Yes, the home feels very naturally put together, not staged. So glad you have some new ideas! Check out the latest video of their shop, I just uploaded it!
Such an authentic primitive home full of treasures and inspiration. Thank you for letting us look and thank you Gabriella for taking us on the tour with you. Wish your niece Nicole a happy birthday.
Oh my! This Log Home is absolutely fabulous!❤I can see why you were speechless. The Feather Trees as well as the antiques through out are outstanding and thoughtfully displayed. Thank you so much Leisa for allowing Gabrielle to video your beautiful home to share with all her viewers. Merry Christmas.🎄 Happy Birthday Nichole!🎉
This home tour ranks as my number one favorite this Christmas!!! Not that all of the tours on RUclips haven't been wonderful!! This one speaks to my heart!!
Speechless, like stepping back to a simpler time! So cozy, warm, relaxing and everything so well done! I could easily escape the chaos in our world today and live in this home🤎. A true keeper of the past in this throw away society we live in.. such a beautiful home. The feather trees, primitive lighting, putz sheep, warmth of wood and textiles…oh my heart be still. I’ll be rewatching this one for sure! Debby, upstate New York
I have no particular favorite part as its ALL amazing !!!! Love the decor, the style, the placement of the antiques, the colors....beautiful home.........
Loved how they were able to integrate modern conveniences without compromising the period look. Her pieces are beautiful and ,so is the way they are displayed…..simply. Look forward to visiting her shop.
What a Wonderful Prim home! What work they have done to bring this log home to life! The placement of everything was so well thought out! It's an Incredible home! Totally in love with all the feather trees, I have always loved them and to see so many in this home was so Awesome!! Love the blue green color of the walls, just so many Fabulous touches! Thank You So Much Leisa and Daryl for allowing us a peak inside your lovely home and Thank You Gabriella for bringing us along on this tour!
Our pleasure! Be sure to check out their shop video that I just uploaded! She has a very well done reproduction feather tree for a very reasonable price. Hope you'll subscribe to our channel, if you haven't already and share! Hoping to get to 10k subscribers before 2024!
Somethings that stood out to me is the sink is exactly like my grandmothers sink that I used to stand on the chair and help her dry dishes and talk to my grandmother she had a cloth around her sink the bottom so you couldn’t see what’s under it? There is a bowl in the pantry. That is amazing. It’s beautiful. The outside of the house is stunning, the warmth as you walk through the house I love the stairs how tiny they are and how steep they are there so many things
Yes, the kitchen really reminded me of an old-world European kitchen. They are planning on putting an addition on the home eventually that will hold a new/old kitchen. I just uploaded a video of the shop, hope you'll check it out, and she does ship!
Oh my goodness, there are so many favorite parts of this home. It is amazing. It would be my dream home. Everything about it the beautiful outside the house looks amazing. It’s like stepping back in time I want to say it’s like a museum but that’s so dry because this is a beautiful home it’s so comfy and welcoming, I want to watch this video over and over and over again and get ideas of how I can possibly make. My home looks somewhat even a tiny little bit like hers. Thank you so much. You do an amazing job at narrating and describing and articulating all the items you see, you bring out detail and I love that and your description you educate us. This is a one of a kind home.!!!!
Thank you so much for your kind words. I was so speechless when I first started it took me a bit to get going. I wanted to be sure to remember as much as I could that Leisa had shared with me about the home and the antiques.
Yes, speechless bcz this is beyond words. Just so amazing. How do you pick a favorite? The old clothing, the feather trees, that old drum, the building itself. What a gift this tour is. Thanks to them and you for sharing this. Happy Holidays. Happy Birthday to Nicole
They are planning on a kitchen addition at some point in the future. I honestly thought the kitchen was very charming and felt very old world English to me. I can only imagine what the addition will look like!
Thank you for the lovely tour. I think the room that was referred to as a pantry would have been called the Buttery, beautiful by any name. Truly a labor of love. I so appreciated all the details of each piece and room. Thank you.
Thank you for taking us along on your visit. I love the whole house. My favorite pieces are the feather trees. I have always wanted one. Happy birthday to your niece!
Gabriella this very well may be the best video yet. The home exudes charm and warmth from beginning to end. What a clever idea to put a trapdoor upstairs to bring the large pieces of furniture in.
While I couldn't live in this home, I admire and respect their restoration process and all their curated furnishings and decorations. What amazes me is how the two of them have worked together to make this happen. It takes a lot of knowledge, vision, and talent on both sides, not to mention "just a few" dollars and cents.
Really enjoyed this episode, yet again so many things to drool over. The last time I commented, I forgot to enquire how your husband was getting on after his hip operation, hope he’s doing well. I’d like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family Happy Christmas, and a Prosperous New Year.
What a stunning log home, just incredibly beautiful! Superb decorating. Thank you for sharing your labor of love, it’s my favorite now! Thanks to Gabriella for filming and information on this dream home as well. I’ve watched it at least 5 times and yet find it as charming as the first time I saw it. Good luck with your kitchen addition, hopefully we will be able to see it when finished. You are blessed 🙏
Yay! Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. I know I did. It took me a few minutes to gather my wits about me! LOL!! I was overwhelmed by details and wanted to be sure to get it all correct and not forget anything. The home and the collection is stunning.
Oh my goodness - I couldn't decide on just ONE favorite part!! But I'd say one of my favorites by far was the cupboard at the top of the stairs that housed the teddy bears. I have a collection of antique ones, and I loved how they all looked in that cupboard. I think I will have to watch this video several times to "take it all in"! Wish I lived closer! Thank you for sharing - this home was absolutely breath taking!!! Happy New Year!
On my stars!! Beautiful!! But how much money would one need to have to have so much in the house. Every nook & cranny is filled with beautiful amazing pieces. Not every one inherits or is able to afford so much or is a handyman who can reconfigure or build things. But it’s good to watch & get ideas. Thank you for this amazing viewing.
A labor of love and many years of collecting and traveling buying and selling at shows all over the country. Lots and lots of hard work. Be sure to check out my latest video of her shop, and she does ship!
I absolutely loved the tour, thank you so much! I especially loved all of the beautiful aged wood and the creaking sound of the floors and the stairs going up to those warm cozy bedrooms. All I can say is wow, I loved it all, inside and out!!
Thank you so much! Hope you've subscribed and hit that share button! I'm really trying to get to 10K subscribers by the end of this year! Just uploaded a video from Leisa's shop. Check it out, she does ship!
Well I’m at a loss to pick a favorite part because there are so many pieces that I’m a huge fan of….feather trees, wall paper boxes, onion bottles with horn beakers, the hour glass, old leather books, beautiful old clothes….the list goes on and on. I would like to ask a question, since she has so many feather trees….can you give any suggestion for storage of them…..for instance, is it ok to bend the branches up when storing? I’m trying to find a safe way to store the ones I have. Thanks….and happy birthday to your niece.
Leisa did comment here on the video, I hope you can find it. She stores more in her mule chests, and cupboards without bending the branches whenever possible.
This is in her home, and may just be her own personal collection. I did just upload the video of her shop and she does ship. Definitely reach out to her. Hope you'll subscribe if you haven't already! Really helps our little channel grow!

How many feather trees does she have
I didn't count, but more than I've ever seen in one home. They were incredible. She said many were gifts over the years from her husband.
Perhaps it would have been more successful if the owners gave the details on the original construction.
I'm into primitive but I don't like the pictures of the people they're creepy
Your voice can be heard but no video 🥴
Hope you'll try again. I've not heard from anyone else having difficulties watching.
I try not to fold them up any
more than I have to.
Again we really appreciate the kind words. Merry Christmas everyone
