Hi 🙋♀️new friend and content creator here. Your video just popped up in my feed. This piece is wonderful, I’d love to spend time hunting for treasures. They have so many timeless pieces. I loved all of the portraits but I think my favorite was the child holding the hoop. So many beautiful tables and candles. The rocking horse is amazing. Love the cupboard. Thanks for sharing 🌻🐑
Wonderful cherished pieces I'm sure. Always a good idea to put a little note with the special pieces so future generations will know the history. New episode coming up tonight!
Me too!! While I've bought and sold and lived with antiques most of my life, each home is different and I know there are some pieces that will fit perfectly and others that are just going to have to go. I'm looking forward to seeing this house become our home!
Years ago I was really into prim but didn't know that it was a thing. I just liked that style. Then I moved into more classical, then modern, then colonial, then farmhouse, then cottage, then this, then that, blah, blah.... But I am so returning to primative. Maybe not the extreme because I like my creature comforts of modern day but I do love the simplicity of prim, the organic feel it has, the dark moodiness and the craftmanship. I just love all of it. I'm moving in that direction and enjoy these videos.
Came across your channel just by chance & watched some recent material & now I am backtracking to watch more. Can’t get enough of this channel. Why oh why has the world changed with all the modern things they call furniture with no character whatsoever. The market is flooded with so much disposable goods, it’s such a same. We can’t find anything like this now in most places. All the old skills have been lost. 😢
I didn't get enough antiquing today, so I jumped on RUclips to watch one of your older videos. I've been searching for a country cupboard and found the perfect one. It measured perfectly for the empty spot in my entry foyer. But noooo, it had a SOLD tag on it! 😒 The search continues.
I have just come across your amazing video and I am blown away, all the beautiful things I love in one gorgeous shop. I love the way you take your time to show us everything, it's almost the same as being there in person. Unfortunately I live in England but I try to emulate this look in my cottage with braided rugs and samplers etc. I have subscribed and look forward to catching up on former videos. Many thanks.
I am on my 3rd watch of this and am still seeing new items missed before. Be still my prim heart!! Such a wonderful trip back in history. I loved your comments about our sisters who worked with and used so many of the kitchen prims in everyday life. I too enjoy forming a story around a particular kitchen prim that touches my inner self from years gone by. Thank you again for this journey with you.
Glad you enjoyed it! These prim pieces definitely do have a spirit of days past. II hope you've subscribed to keep getting notification of new videos. Take care prim friend!
Just a beautiful shop. Thank you so very much for that wonderful tour. So many unique things. Look forward to more video tours and seeing her beautiful log home. Take care. ❤️
This was fantastic, I have to watch it several times, saw so many things I would love to have. Thank you for taking us along. How is the new house coming along? Looking forward to more pictures.
She does ship! Thanks for watching! I did start a fb page for "The Cape on the Corner at Tweedthistle Farms" to share pics and communicate a little easier.
Chairs might be too low for the table but have some high benches made so sitting at table would be more comfortable. My husband can put together a bench in no time.
Great video and beautiful items. I really wish I knew the paint color on the walls. I'm wanting to paint my bedroom a different color and that color looks great with primitive decor. Is there anyone I could ask?
That's a great question Kellie! I've given it a lot of thought since first reading your comment. I can tell you - in our case it started with a couple of early bed frames. You can get a nice early prim bedframe for a great price and add some lovely woven textile covers or quilts at the foot of the bed. Instant room made prim. In a family room, it would probably be a prim cupboard for the TV if it's not a wall mounted one or even a trunk as your coffee table. Then, accessorize from there. I hope that helps!
Thank You for the trip back in time. Well appreciated! Be Well
Back to a simpler time! Love it all. Thanks for watching! I hope you've subscribed.

I love primitive, antiques, rustic country. I have several old pieces from my old home place since my parents have passed away.

Great video and beautiful items. I really wish I knew the paint color on the walls. I'm wanting to paint my bedroom a different color and that color looks great with primitive decor. Is there anyone I could ask?
You could contact the shop directly. Her info is in the video description. Hope that helps!
If somebody was just start decorating and primitive style, what would you suggest would be their first investment?
