You should be running a culinary class, Chef. Clear and precise instructions step by step. Brilliant! Thank you for this video. I shall certainly try it.
I tried it from scratch, following every details, with first time making curry mix powder. It was very nice and authentic. More earthy, with still having aromatic hint from cardamom. Thanks Sharmi 😊
Your recipes remind me of my late fathers. He made everything from memory and never wrote anything down. He passed before I could learn his recipes so I’ve been looking for videos that seem similar to his cooking. Would love to see you make Shrimp/Prawn Pulao. His was yellow/orange in color and spicy. I’ve seen a few videos but instructions aren’t the best. Love the detail in these. I’ve subbed to watch more and can’t wait to try this biryani.
It is just a pleasure to watch your cooking videos, your teaching skill, presentation, videography, music. Before I say I don’t have that spice or that utensil you already give me the substitution or another idea. You are a great teacher. I will definitely one day make this biryani recipe, but I’m afraid to do the raw chicken.
You teach really well! Thank you. I do make biryani but I cook my meat first because I’m paranoid that it won’t cook if I do it from raw but I will give your version a try one day. Thank you !
Great recipe, great video, will certainly make. I like the raita too. I guess rose water is not a Hydrabadi ingredient, one of my recipes has this - do you know which regions use rose water? Thank you!
Hi Sharmi. Your recipe looks great. I will definitely try it. How do you feel about adding kewra water, rose water or star anise to this recipe. Would that make it less Hyderabadi? Thanks for another great recipe. Charlie

Thank you. You can add star anise, but kewra water and rose water are not generally used in Hyderabadi Biryani 🙂❤️❤️
