  • Our original Sea Eagle lasted about seven years. We loved it so much that we replaced it with the exact same thing. Check it out.

    I use my 385ft for freediving in the ocean and it works great. Nice video.

    You prefer the inflatable seats to the kayak black seats, is there a big difference?

      We do prefer the inflatable seats. You can adjust them to whatever firmness you like. The bottom and back inflate separately. We find them much easier on the back and legs.

    Why did your old one leak after only 7 years?

    Thanks for the walkthrough! How is it paddling solo?

      It's a little large for a solo trip. If you move the seat to the middle position it does track ok. They make some smaller models. Thanks!

      Why did you guys opt for the largest model anyways? The 385FT looks like it should be perfect for 2 people? Trying to decide between the different models for my family. Any experience with the Explorer models?

      @@EvanWharton We go out for the day many times and take our cameras, Cooler, and anything else we will need for the day. It is perfect for the 2 of us and we still have room for all of our stuff. We also like that one of us can stand up and paddle to stretch our legs. No experience with the Explorer. We have only bought 2 kayaks and they were both the 465ft. We do highly recommend the inflatable seats - comfortable and adjustable.

      @@knightviews We ended up going for the same one that y'all have. It's on backorder, so won't ship till mid May but looking forward to taking the family out. 4 of us--my wife and I and our 2 small boys. Thanks again!

    Thinking about buying a sea eagle, never been in a inflatable kayak, how stable are they ? Can they turn over, are they easy to paddle ?

    • @knightviews
      @knightviews  2 года назад

      We love ours. It takes a few minutes to inflate and get it ready for the water and it needs to be dry before we pack it back up but the ease of transport and comfort of the seats are well worth the extra time. We have the inflatable seats.
      Ours is extremely stable. We have never turned it over, and we have tried. The rigid inflatable floor is great. You can paddle standing up if you want to.
      It is very easy to paddle. It does not go as fast as a hard-side kayak but it does track well.
      We highly recommend Sea Eagle. We bought ours from inflatableboats4less.com/ they are good people.

      You’re so right we should be setting a good example. We are grateful it was calm waters, and our life vest were readily accessible. Thanks for watching.

    Even good swimmers die when they have jeans and jackets on without a life preserver!

      Macon, you are so right. It was very calm waters and our life vest were by our side. But you’re right with blue jeans and jackets it doesn’t take much.
