PSA: Remember not to DRIVE with your steering wheel hanging from the mirror!! Highway patrol can ticket you for that maneuver. Don't ask me how I know.
I like it, but I don't have a removable steering wheel. Something you could do for people like me is keep the upper part and for the lower part, instead of a hook you could make a mount for a dash cam.....so that your mount for your dash cam would not have to stuck to the windshield. If you did that it would give me a reason to buy it.
@@FlyinMiataVideo Another thing you could do is make this into a type of retro fit kit for the later NAs that had the mirror on the window with the windshield frame mount replaced by the interior light. I'd be willing go bet that the mounts for the old mirror mount are under the light...if that is true then you could integrate some leds into whatever you put on the bottom bit so that you can mount a mirror in the old location and not lose your interior light. I'll have a 97 for my son around soon, so I can check it out. It has a broken windshield and needs a rearview anyway, and I would rather have the mirror mounted in the original location.
I like your videos and your product, but not only my detachable steering wheel is part of my anti theft system, I would never leave my nardi wood grain hanging on the windshield for anyone to take. Also, I like as little UV exposure for my wheel as possible. Otherwise, great product for those living in the area where theft is non existent.
This is meant as more of a convenient place to put your steering wheel between sessions at the track, not really for everyday use or long term parking.

I put my wheel on the parcel shelf or dashboard.
