Multiple officers struck by gunfire in Charlotte: police

- Multiple law enforcement officers were shot in east Charlotte, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department confirmed.
The public is urged to stay away from the area on Galway Drive, near Julian Underwood Park. The shooting occurred not far from the intersection of The Plaza and Milton Road.
CMS confirms four schools are on a modified lockdown due to police activity in the area. The schools are Devonshire ES, Briarwood Academy, Cochrane Collegiate and Lawrence Orr ES. Transportation will be impacted for all schools during dismissal.

Maybe the police shouldn’t have pushed guns on the streets all these decades, conspired to prevent the collection and collation of accurate gun crime, accidental shooting and ricochet data, conspired to keep the public ignorant about the relationship between handguns and police work, brainwashed and lied to children with racist, faketriot nonsense while teaching them to say, “guns dont kill people”, fought against common sense measures that will reduce gun crime, allowed NRA to corrupt them and idiotically invested union pension and personal monies in gun and ammo makers that manufacture lethal threats to their own and public safety, then used the threat created by their own corruption by the gun lobby to racketeer excessive tax burdening salaries and pensions for themselves at everyone elses expense?

Police officers need more compensation, more support, more SURVIELLANCE. We need more surviellance in all public space, highways, roads, etc. More funding for law and order, more compensation for police officers and get liberal/progressive/democratic people out of the process.

The victims families have every right to know the identities of the people that made and sold the gun or bullets and to know if those persons are retired cops, police, municipal or state employee or military family, if that shop is invested in with police, municipal or state employees personal or pension monies or if it was sold in a shop similarly staffed or intermingled with monies from the above mentioned sources.
