I'm in his target age group (21) and Ive seen plenty of my friends and acquaintances fall victim to his "philosophies". Tate was an atheist and he thought those with a faith were weak. He later decided that it's okay to have a faith but the Orthodox Christians were the least weak in Christianity. He chose to become an Orthodox Christian. Finally, he decided that Christians were too weak after all and that those of Islam faith were much stronger. His faith seems to be about him and how he is perceived not about serving God.

@@TopherToke Misleading and malice aren't synonymous. The thumbnails and branding ARE misleading. Each part of imagery and branding is a "coding" for a direct conversation between two people. Durbin has also gotten new fame from his debate with the gay pastor tik tok dude. Even having the images of himself and the person he's talking about equally sized implies they're both there speaking as equals. The branding is misleading but not malicious. Everyone understands this in movie posters but people who aren't online fluent don't notice that thumbnails are just as communicative as the video itself. Having two people in the foreground, on opposite sides with the same kinds of expressions and same size image communicates that the two are together in a video to have a reserved conversation from equal footing about something they disagree on. That's why most thumbnails have the speaker large and in the foreground with whoever they're talking about smaller in the background. Thumbnails have meaning. That paired with the title "collision" also implies that two people are colliding--not that Durbin is sitting by himself doing a Red-Pen-Logic style breakdown. Misleading but not malicious. Edit: the absolute worst part, though, is that Durbin says "featuring" when the person in question is not featured. So maybe it IS intentional manipulation because saying "featuring" is unacceptable, and even someone being stupid and ignorant about basic online communication can't be supposed to be so stupid that they don't know that "featuring" means "with this person" in any other form of media

For some reason the thing that popped out at me about Mr. Tate was that he was wearing sunglasses inside. This could be because: -he forgot to take them off when he came in from outside -the lights aimed at him were too bright and he needed to shade his eyes -his sunglasses are prescription and his regular glasses or contact lenses were not available -he did not want people to see where he was looking during the discussion -he thinks he’s “a big deal” and thinks that wearing sunglasses gives gives him the “look” commensurate with being a big deal My guess is that it is the last option. I apologize for being so shallow, but that's just how it struck me.

Yes, Tate may be calling himself a Muslim, but really isn't one, because he doesn't yet know what it means to be a Muslim; just as he doesn't know (he says it himself) and never knew what a Christian is; and so, he did not "convert". All started with delta then getting my gallbladder out. Pray for my healing. i have had over 40 blood tests, ct scans, mri, stool tests, tested for lyme, celiac, had my inflammation markers checked and got ekg as well as an abodminal ultrasound. Only thing they found is some erosive gastritis. Don't feel well a lot. Have lost 110 pounds in over a year and have long haul covid. A lot of stomach issues

The Book of Mormon has a passage that says the world will be judged by the books (plural) that are written. I'm currently learning Arabic with the hopes of reading the actual Quran someday. I have no reason to doubt that it is a wonderful gift and blessing. Abraham is large, he contains multitudes.
I would love for both Pastor Jeff and Tate to sit and not only debate but for Pastor Jeff to definitely school him more on Christianity. At 42yrs old because of Pastor Jeffs testimonies and videos, ive changed my views on Christianity. I was born and raised Seventh day Adventist but I was one of those who claimed Christianity culturally, and I was the biggest hypocrite and judging other hypocritical christians..I still have a lot of work to do and studies but I can say the past 5yrs Ive been really into apologetics and listening to lectures, studies and videos from Nabeel Quaresh, Jeff Durbin and apologetics studios and Ravi Zacharius. And it has strengthened my relationship with God as well as I now view and study the word differently.
It always comes down to people loving their sin too much. People stray away as soon as they discover that they need to be born again and give up their sinful pleasures
I’ll never give up my faith and love in Jesus Christ but Muslims have inspired me to take my walk in Christ more seriously. Most Christians don’t take our relationship with Jesus as seriously as Muslims take their faith, we can and should learn from this.

The Devil is working everyday to corrupt the truth about our Creator and Sustainer and our relationship to the One who is All Aware and Ever Living (God). We agree that the sectarian divides within religion and the religious in name only masses do not change the Truth of True Revelation. Thousands of years past between the Old testament and the New Testament and the Christians have validated its truth. The Jews, who came before Jesus still call Jesus a liar and accuse his righteous Mother, May God bless her. The Quran is 600 plus years after the Old Testament and it has validated the Truth in the revelation to Jesus, May Gods Peace be Upon Him. Christians and Jews, who preceded us still reject the Quran. We in this generation, are in the time period of the last authentic revelation, the seal of prophethood, the era of Prophet Muhammad, Peace be Upon Him. All goodness is reaffirmed in the religion of Islam, the same goodness that was delivered by Jesus, Moses, Abraham, David, Isaac, Lot, Ismail, Yusah, Joseph and many more prophets some of whos names will only be known by us on the day of Judgement. May Allah (God) increase us in guidance and obedience, may He unite the believers on truth and keep our hearts open. Last point. For those conservative Christians who believe in returning Humanity back to its "Image of God" form or as we say in Islam, back to our God given Fitra........Lets appreciate that we are on the same side in opposing all of the foolishness that is injected into the hearts of our communities. In a nutshell isn't it more a testimony of what they will be judged by themselves as well, but when they say before God "but others were....." My whole life I wanted to be "the man". Something I got from my father as a child. But when Andrew Tate arrived to the internet scene with his followers, I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. I'm in his target age group (21) and Ive seen plenty of my friends and acquaintances fall victim to his "philosophies".

Tate was an atheist and he thought those with a faith were weak. He later decided that it's okay to have a faith but the Orthodox Christians were the least weak in Christianity. He chose to become an Orthodox Christian. Finally, he decided that Christians were too weak after all and that those of Islam faith were much stronger. His faith seems to be about him and how he is perceived not about serving God.

@@TopherToke Misleading and malice aren't synonymous. The thumbnails and branding ARE misleading. Each part of imagery and branding is a "coding" for a direct conversation between two people. Durbin has also gotten new fame from his debate with the gay pastor tik tok dude.
Even having the images of himself and the person he's talking about equally sized implies they're both there speaking as equals.
The branding is misleading but not malicious.
Everyone understands this in movie posters but people who aren't online fluent don't notice that thumbnails are just as communicative as the video itself. Having two people in the foreground, on opposite sides with the same kinds of expressions and same size image communicates that the two are together in a video to have a reserved conversation from equal footing about something they disagree on. That's why most thumbnails have the speaker large and in the foreground with whoever they're talking about smaller in the background. Thumbnails have meaning. That paired with the title "collision" also implies that two people are colliding--not that Durbin is sitting by himself doing a Red-Pen-Logic style breakdown.
Misleading but not malicious.
Edit: the absolute worst part, though, is that Durbin says "featuring" when the person in question is not featured.
So maybe it IS intentional manipulation because saying "featuring" is unacceptable, and even someone being stupid and ignorant about basic online communication can't be supposed to be so stupid that they don't know that "featuring" means "with this person" in any other form of media

Andrew Tate, simply put, is a false prophet. He as a great number of muslins start saying that he was a Christian when he was not.
I think andrew like islam because he likes that it encourages violence which he has stated numerous times.
For some reason the thing that popped out at me about Mr. Tate was that he was wearing sunglasses inside. This could be because:
-he forgot to take them off when he came in from outside
-the lights aimed at him were too bright and he needed to shade his eyes
-his sunglasses are prescription and his regular glasses or contact lenses were not available
-he did not want people to see where he was looking during the discussion
-he thinks he’s “a big deal” and thinks that wearing sunglasses gives gives him the “look” commensurate with being a big deal
My guess is that it is the last option. I apologize for being so shallow, but that's just how it struck me.

The hard bit will be that Tate will not be consistent in his theology, so may not have a consistent argument.
Yes, Tate may be calling himself a Muslim, but really isn't one, because he doesn't yet know what it means to be a Muslim; just as he doesn't know (he says it himself) and never knew what a Christian is; and so, he did not "convert". I think he's simply entertaining his following. May his efforts to entertain result in some of his following digging deeper into scripture...and finding Salvation. And may that happen to Tate himself
The issue with Tate is that he didn't pick Islam for any faith based reason. He picked it for cultural reasons. He is putting culture and politics over God. Ultimately, those things are his "god" instead of God Himself.

Pray for my healing. i have had over 40 blood tests, ct scans, mri, stool tests, tested for lyme, celiac, had my inflammation markers checked and got ekg as well as an abodminal ultrasound. I would love for both Pastor Jeff and Tate to sit and not only debate but for Pastor Jeff to definitely school him more on Christianity. At 42yrs old because of Pastor Jeffs testimonies and videos, ive changed my views on Christianity. I was born and raised Seventh day Adventist but I was one of those who claimed Christianity culturally, and I was the biggest hypocrite and judging other hypocritical christians..I still have a lot of work to do and studies but I can say the past 5yrs Ive been really into apologetics and listening to lectures, studies and videos from Nabeel Quaresh, Jeff Durbin and apologetics studios and Ravi Zacharius. And it has strengthened my relationship with God as well as I now view and study the word differently.

I’ll never give up my faith and love in Jesus Christ but Muslims have inspired me to take my walk in Christ more seriously. Most Christians don’t take our relationship with Jesus as seriously as Muslims take their faith, we can and should learn from this.

The corrupt social norms that are being rejected by you and Tate are rejected by the vast majority of non practicing Muslims and I think that is the difference that Tate is talking about within Islam and amongst Muslims. Seeing the obedience to God in practice is beautiful and attracts converts. The Devil is working everyday to corrupt the truth about our Creator and Sustainer and our relationship to the One who is All Aware and Ever Living (God). We agree that the sectarian divides within religion and the religious in name only masses do not change the Truth of True Revelation. Thousands of years past between the Old testament and the New Testament and the Christians have validated its truth. The Jews, who came before Jesus still call Jesus a liar and accuse his righteous Mother, May God bless her. The Quran is 600 plus years after the Old Testament and it has validated the Truth in the revelation to Jesus, May Gods Peace be Upon Him. Christians and Jews, who preceded us still reject the Quran. We in this generation, are in the time period of the last authentic revelation, the seal of prophethood, the era of Prophet Muhammad, Peace be Upon Him. All goodness is reaffirmed in the religion of Islam, the same goodness that was delivered by Jesus, Moses, Abraham, David, Isaac, Lot, Ismail, Yusah, Joseph and many more prophets some of whos names will only be known by us on the day of Judgement. May Allah (God) increase us in guidance and obedience, may He unite the believers on truth and keep our hearts open.
Last point. For those conservative Christians who believe in returning Humanity back to its "Image of God" form or as we say in Islam, back to our God given Fitra........Lets appreciate that we are on the same side in opposing all of the foolishness that is injected into the hearts of our communities. Most of our basic religious beliefs are the same, (Belief in revelation, life after death, the day of judgement characteristics of the "Father" God Allah and belief in One "Father", return of Jesus, the Virgin Birth if Jesus, the virginity of Mary and the miracle of her pregnancy, the persecution of Jesus, the truth of revelation of the bible (Injeel), and the truth of the Torah. We know where we differ.
May the Devil not be able to use our differences to drag more humanity away from the truth.
Good response. One minor criticism, you should drop the music in the background during the response, only have it in the intro and outro, it’s distracting. IMO.

Thank you pastor Jeff. In some ways Andrew Tate’s embrace of Islam is just as shallow as the Christianity he, rightly criticizes. He does say some things that are correct but may not understand they originated in Christianity.

It is amazing at times, many non-Christians are able to speak about what "Christians" are suppose to do... In a nutshell isn't it more a testimony of what they will be judged by themselves as well, but when they say before God "but others were....." God will simply say i'm not judging you for what others did you are being judge for what you did and what you did with Christ...

Genuinely feel that as men in Christ we have to use our grittier nature for good..being able to labor" dig the holes" to serve GOD and show his love ...not for our own vain glory..it's easy to get lost in reveling. Love the content pastor Jeff. Thanks for all you do.
