I've watched so many of these audience research videos, and to be honest, none actually SHOW how to find your target audience. "Start by finding your target audience, you can then target them with content they are interested in". But how do you actually identify your target audience???

You start ads campaigns on social media and wait to see what category interacts with you the most.
But b4 that, you need to try ad campaigns on all social media platforms to understand what app your audience uses.

To be honest I’m not exactly sure 🤷🏼♀️ she said that larger companies will have more leads than they can handle. Said that mid-range is the sweet spot that will want my service and that low ticket contractors will also want my service. I asked how to determine who is considered mid range and low ticket , but got no response. So I’m not sure what strategy to use now to target the mid and low range contractors 🤷🏼♀️ Any suggestions???

A little feedback for you. The music in the background takes away from your message, in short its really annoying. Also your viewers may not be in the marketing world so using too many technical words will leave you with audience that does not understand what your saying. Even explaining it in terms is a little much as i am sure you could explain it in a way so a child would understand it if you have it some through. Being a teacher often means to dumb it down a bit so everyone can follow a long.

Solve for X where:
X is your target market,
y is the ideal buyer persona (how do they become ready, willing and able to buy) and,
Z is what you offer/value-add/products/services.

That's ok, then just use a different image, or different style.

@@vv2262 As a rule of thumb for FB ad size I'd recommend using 1x1 only if you have a lot of important copy in the description. If the copy is less important than your image/video, (in my opinion it generally is) you'll always want your pic/video taking up more real estate... 4x5 or larger usually works best for me but always split test.
Keep in mind FB doesn't like text heavy pictures so if you're looking to include the address you may want to put it in the description instead.

Thanks so much Luisa, I really appreciate it! The best way is by talking to them, but you can also see what language and words competitors are using and what promises they're making to the market which is a good indication of what people want.

Hey Mahima, cold dm’ing people Is probably my least favourite strategy ever. Mostly because anybody that you would want to do business with probably gets dozens if not hundreds of these kind of messages every single day so they most likely get ignored.

But I didn't quite understand something about TAM.
In your example, you said that if I sell coffee, my TAM is all the people who drink coffee.
Let's say that I sell body-weight workout programs, my TAM is all the people who train no matter if it's bodyweight or weight lifting or swimming(the whole fitness niche so to speak). Or is my TAM all the people who do only body-weight workouts?
That's the part I didn't get, If you could clarify that for me it would be awesome.
Appealing to everyone appeals to no one.
Look at age, gender, income, location, beliefs, values, how they think, how they live, lifestyle, attitudes, their groups, how they behave, how and where they purchase.
Do market research.
