Gaisebaba... I will share something. I was an Anglican.....I had the communion class about 17 years ago. The Reverend that took us through the class told us that after you have been confirmed into the communion, we have no right to sin, and if we did, our sins won't be forgiven. Then, my friend and I agreed not to take the holy communion and continue sinning until we are done. Since that time I have been lost to sexual immortality. Thank you for sharing this with us.
Apostle Emmanuel Iren calls it "Gutsy guilt" Feel the guilt but have the boldness to go to God and embrace who you are! It was for this that Christ died for you! 37:55
I watched this episode few days ago, and I just couldn't resist commenting. My mindset about this sexual sin has changed and the way I also see myself (my identity). Between the day I watched it and now, I noticed that I've been giving too much attention to this particular sin which always make me feel worthless whenever I fall. So I noticed that when I started seeing it as a struggle or an habit that I need to work on rather than a big sin, I just felt relieved. Not that I now feel I have the liberty to continue in it, but it feels like I've taken away the power it had over me when I changed my mindset. I don't know if this is how I should feel tho.
My identity is found in Christ, and my behavior catches us with my identity when I am resolute in my understanding and knowledge of who I am in Christ🔥
