Pronunciation of Aoi is basically "owee", reason being is that in Japanese "a" is always short-vowel while "o" and "i" are always long-vowel (a-oo-ii).

Aoi Yuuki slaps the song as original singer. But that German version fits the setting and Selphius 's performance is also exceptional I guess hearing it in your own language may be cringe but that's anime song for you. It's bound to be.

Recently, during her Birthday Concert, Hakos Baelz from Hololive got an audio message from Tanya - Aoi Yuuki did the voice for her! She even said they should sing Los! Los! Los! together sometime! I would love to see that!
Also, the reason it sometimes takes so long in-between seasons of Anime, is partially because some Anime aren't meant to have a second (or further) season initially. Japanese companies still think of Anime as mainly being an advertisement for the Manga and Light Novels the Anime is based off of, and use it to build hype around the series to sell more merchandise. Combine this with studios only being able to produce so much Anime in a season/year, and things get pushed back, or sometimes, just left alone (looking at you, No Game No Life....)
The longest I have personally waited for an anime to release a sequel season was 12 years.

Well, in general it _does_ mean child, but it _also_ implies girl because of its association in female names (Hanako, Nanako, Youko, etc.)
*Though not all names with ko, or even the proper kanji, 子, are feminine. A famous example is Koyasu Takehito - 子安武人 - a.k.a. DIO.
Since Kumoko - 蜘蛛子 - is a name, it _primarily_ means girl. Child comes second.
And btw, "ko" can _also_ mean small. But that's a different kanji: 小.
And of course there are a whole slew of other kanji with their own meanings that can sometimes become "ko", like 好.

And you pronounce her by speaking all the Vowels. A-o-i, 3 Syllables (technically speaking, since Japanese is a Language of Syllables and that's how you'd write あおい). It's basically the most natural Pronounciation for German-Speakers (since the Vowels are pronounced almost identically in both Languages), for what that's worth lol.

Fun fact I watch anime with no questions asked just for Aoi Yuuki's voice performance. Even if the series isn't my cup of tea, Aoi Yuuki just makes the experience extremely enjoyable every single time. One role she absolutely nailed is Kayo from ERASED, which is also an anime I would love to see your reaction to. Also has great opening (you said so yourself during reactions :))
In LOS! LOS! LOS! Tanya is singing her orders to the 203rd Aerial Mage Battalion. The bodies she wants piled to the heavens aren't her troops but those foolish enough to stand against her.
You're incorrect on the general premise of the series. It's not that they want to kill her off. It's that the gods who blessed her make it in effect that she's misunderstood. So while she often tries to get a cushy job far from battle she's sent to the front lines.
I've rewatched this series a fair few times, several of which were introducing new people to it.
The "Gushing Over Magical Girls" ED is another one that's massively different with English lyrics.🤣

There are up to 5 seasons, but if you watch Symphogear, you can see the great performance of the voice actors who sing.
It's strange that there are so many voices praising Aoi Yuuki, but no voices supporting Symphogear.
This anime have 1 OVA (after story of ss1) and 1 the movie, Both is story between SS1 and SS2 (Waiting for SS2 release date to be announced)

Regarding the thing you mention with many year gaps between seasons: A studio can only do so much, and an anime is only so popular. The people deciding whether an anime season should be made or not have to consider whether it will garner profit or not, and if they believe so, they still have to ask studios to take on the job and hope a studio accepts. Lastly, animation takes time. It's only better that it takes longer, because that usually ensures quality will be good.
Most of seiyuus are singers too and usually they're good on it... it's quite common for them to cooperate in openings, endings or insert songs.

Saga Of Tanya The Evil has a movie which is a sequel and sort of 6 episode season. Also the second TV season is in production.
That's one of the things that always amazes me about godly seiyus is when they not only have multiple characters, but can sing as those characters. Like when Rie Takahashi sings as Emelia and as Megumin, you can hear it's the characters singing.

As for something to watch: dororo (2019) it’s a remake of the 1969 original.
The the first opening is amazing, “kaen” is just a wonderful listen and the animation behind it really compliments it.
I think you will like the show, a lot of action and drama, which also delves onto darker topics.
Aoi Yuuki did also the voice of the main character in the apothecary diaries.
You'd think with Isekai Quartet that Youjyo Senki (the jp name for this anime) would've gotten a second season, but alas it hasn't (yet). Good thing I'm a manga reader, though seeing everything animated is simply different.
Anyways, I still have to once again recommend the Isekai Ojisan Op. (I stopped commenting my recommendations for months 'cuz I was repeating myself) The Op for Isekai Ojisan, Story, was done by the singer for Myth & Roid, Maeshima Mayu. Somehow the animation for the opening is just as amazing as the song. I just know Luke would love it.
They did announce season 2, but I haven't heard much since
1. The second season was announced almost three years ago. I' sure it'll be only a few years more till release.😆
2. Isn't _yōjo senki_ a light novel series? Why is reading the manga adaptation instead the good thing?😜
@@Patte-chanBecause I'm too stubborn to read an English translation of the light novel. Still learning Japanese, but one day (soon hopefully) I'll be a novel reader. Not to mention, as an artist, I love seeing how different manga scenes are drawn. So I'll still be a manga reader, even if I move into reading light novels a tiny bit more.
Why rewatch it when you can get an even deeper experience and more by reading it?
Los los Los is cemented as one of my favorites. Also Aoi Yuuki is in my top 5 voice actors, even rank 1. She also does Kumoko in Spider Isekai, Lumine in Genshin, Madoka Magica, and a ton of other roles. And even sings!
You will hear her voice again for SAO season 2 though, but I most loved her works is "I'm a spider. So What?".
(I also can't let go of Kayo in Eraced though.)
Biggest gap for an anime coming back this year I'm super-stoked for is Spice and Wolf at 15 years.

It's basically a reversed Book of Job with extra steps as far as I know.
The song Anger/Anger from Myth and Roid has similar vibe as Jimgo Jungle and if full is played you can tell. It's actually my favorite song on the CD but alot of people dont realize cause they only listen to paticular song cause of the shows popularity's. Should really give it a check, it is an anime ending from BBK/BRNK.
9:26 "how the **** do you pick top 5 or ten anime" My benchmark (=#1), I remember every single phrase of OST in the movie. Go watch Patlabor movie. The sound track is literally imbedded into the movie so completely that the only thing you can picture from any given track is the exact scene and you can even recall how the visual part went just by listening. This's the movie where I also ended up being Mamoru Oshii follower since he hires the composer all the time. His GITS and Innocence (myu #2 and 3 obviously) were both gem, movie wise and OST wise.

If you're asking about long gaps in shows the last Hibike! Euphonium show (not counting movies) was 2016 and will finally be getting it's 3rd season in April. There is also the reboot of spice and wolf which last aired in 2008 and left the community hanging with where it stopped in the story. We also finally are getting a season 3 for konosuba where the last main story show was back in 2017. If you include shows that had a major gap between content bleach had a 10 year gap where the original series ended in 2012 and didn't pick back up till 2022. As for series that fans want a continuing season for and will likely be waiting forever in vein No Game No Life tops that chart with so many others I wouldn't be able to list them all.

When i choose anime for top 5 i usually stick with the one i have the most memories of cause there are some that are easily forgetable after a while

Can't wait to see your reaction to Isekai Quartet, having Subaru, Tania, Ains and then Kazuma is hilarious and when you see some scene knowing the anime (like the "you are lucky" XD) you find it just great.

The reason why anime are release this way is because sadly, most of the anime are just consider as adds for the original release, the rare one that are not are the one entirely made as anime or some like attack on titan (Hajime Isayama was following all the process and even was the one behind season 2 ending, that just show the full history of the world when IT WASN'T EVEN IN THE MANGA YET). So yes, it can be really hard to wwait, but the novel are still releasing (yes, not a finished story yet, like a lot, that's why i wanted you to watch finished work on twitch at first, but people directly choosed to make you watch slime...) and so maybe one day, a trailer will be released showing us the airing date.

I rewatched season 1 expecting season 2, but for some reason it was postponed. This is a true crime.
The main reason why we have to wait so long for new seasons of anime in most cases is not enough source material. Most of anime are based on manga or light novel, sometimes visual novel or game. They often make anime when there is source material for only 1 season and then They also have to wait for more and writing a novel takes a lot of time. Manga is little faster, especially when chapters are published weekly.
If anime gets new seasons faster, then that means they started adapting source material, when there was more of it. And in the last case They sometimes don't do next season just because or it can be more of a studio policy?
Like Studio MadHouse, which made Overlord. They are(were) known from making 1 season as manga or novel advertisement and that's it. They created more than 100 anime and only like 9 titles have more than one season. Overlord got more seasons only 'couse so many people were requesting it, I even heard that there was petition send to studio to make more seasons of Overlord. Since Overlord they started to make more seasons of anime, even the ones that were made over 5 years back.
"give us a season each year!" JJJ meme: "you serious?". You need many more years in the anime world to understand it, you are sooo green, you are green like a tomato's bud. There are MANY factors when the higher-ups choose to air a seasonal anime: popularity of the original work, revenue of an earlier series (if there is any), studio availability, seiyuu (voice actors/actresses) availability, when airing, what time, which channels, which streaming services, if there is funding, if there is enough new material to make a season, how many episodes, which other anime will air during that season (some other anime that can be seen as a copy for story, genre and more) etc etc. The only anime that have the "power" to be aired with a good schedule are the long run ones: Meitantei Conan, Pokémon, Onepiece etc, the rest wait until the higher-ups say differently. We are waiting for No Game No Life S2 since 2014, with not even a beep about a second season.

I have to say, as a German person who watched the show in german dub this hits on a different level. And the German covers are also very good. But pandoras actor is still the best dub moment for me
Agree German dubbing is great and sounds allot more natural than english dubs but then german dubbing is crazy even with non anime films such as having the same voice actor for a specific actor in every film they act in
Aoi Yuuki also voices the main character from Symphogear and sings throughout the whole series alongside Nana Mizuki, I believe that's where she started singing for anime.

You haven't seen the anime yet but you did see the OP and EDs for So I'm a Spider So What?, and Aoi Yuuki does the main character and EDs of that show and ED1 is way crazier than this, check the full version of that out. She also did a ton of singing as Hibiki the main character of Symphogear way before either of these shows.
I recommend you check out “Remembrance" by MYTH & ROID! It's the 2nd ending song from the Saga of Tanya The Evil Movie! It's so good.

Need to Watch the OVA "Operation Desert Pasta" Before you watch the Movie but both are definitely worth the watch.
Also Anime based on Light Novels or Manga will take much longer to produce than any anime original content. This is because a light novel covers about 400-500 pages of detailed story and the fast ones will come out 4-6 novels a year. Where as anime will use art to save on hundreds of words and will trim some excess details from the novel to cover 3-6 Novels a season. Typically the anime will prefer the source material to be at least a year a head of them at all times so they don't accidentally 'trim' something that seemed trivial but was actually some critically important for shadowing. The math on this gets worse as not all authors can produce novels that fast and some of the best ones are lucky if they get a novel a year.
What is funny is that book 13 and 14 could be banned for at least 4 years in America. Book 15 is going to be released this June.
From what my friends have told me and showed me some translations, Tanya has a list of people she wishes she could have killed on Earth and on Vow. The name of the planet she was Isekai to is called Vow. She has killed half of the people on her list on Vow but none from Earth.

I'm really hoping season 2 gets a physical release so I can put it on the shelf with my Season 1...also the movie. Movie has been out for a year or two now and they STILL haven't released it over here in the US as a physical thing. Also part of "Los! Los! Los!"...? The Achtung and all that? Yeah those are all commands issued in German, fitting since Tanya is a member of that world's version of Germany's military...and a commanding officer at that.
I season 1 on Blu-Ray but on the cover it says complete series. If they were going to make a second season don't put complete series on the Blu-Ray cover it will confuse people.
@@jamesstutz6907 I think the reason it's got "complete series" is they weren't sure they would GET a second season in the first place. Some anime only get one season nowadays and it's especially true for ones that are based on light novels or manga as the market is pretty flooded, ESPECIALLY Isekai, which is what Saga of Tanya the Evil is.
