Alternatively for warpinator, you can use an FTP client. I use WinSCP, but any ftp client will work. Host is your steam deck name, your username which is in the settings and your password that you setup. Make sure to set the dev mode to on in the settings. It's super easy and works in game mode. Basically, as long as the steam deck is on, you can connect.
@@GrownUpGamingGUG i assume most do, it seems though that KDE Connect is available on Windows as well.. it's a nifty piece of software, file transfers are as easy as pushing them to the other device, no confirmation required.. you can also copy text into clipboard and it appears in the other device's clipboard, plus audio controls, mouse controls, etc.. check it out
@GrownUpGamingGUG transfer to pc? I don't have a pc so i don't have one. Probably just use an external drive if ever. But i use KDE to transfer between my phone and steam deck.
@@geenaxion makes sense, my pc broke down and i use steam deck dock and replaced that pc with steam deck coz that pc only for internet browsing and youtube. but i do have a gaming laptop for games.

I found FTP the most straightforward to setup for wireless transfer, just start sshd, connect to WinSCP, done you can drag and drop through your pc
If your PC is on Linux with KDE/Plasma desktop or you have an Android phone, KDE Connect is the best for file transfers between them and the Deck.

I didn't do anything. It's connected to a dock and monitor that supports 144Hz. How did you see that? It was like 1/10 of a second shot.
