@@_isaiah.g._3521 EPIC! Last piece of advice, Microsoft Edge works BEST for pretty much all streaming services.
@@TLDAcademyi'm stuck on this step. I get an error saying "you must update and run steam rom manager for changes to take effect in steam"
EmuDECK is not allowing me to full screen. I see the url bar at the top. Help
Why its showing a internet tab like disneyplus at not the same on your video i follow all the steps
Iv been trying to do this but it won’t work but the old method works for me Still so I don’t know I gota get someone to help me with it cus I’m just confused
Really? I’m glad the old way still works! 😅 thanks for the watch!
why can't I put in full screen it just opens firefox with the netflix link?
Hey, thanks for the link! I’m not sure, I use Microsoft Edge for my default browser and it works fine. Try setting the default browser to Microsoft Edge vs Firefox to see if that fixes it.
Thanks for the watch!
@@TLDAcademy how do you change the web browser because when I downloaded Emu deck on edge it just put fire fox again and it wasn’t full screen
I did all the steps but when I open steam rom manager, the apps doesn't show, maybe because I'm using the sd card ?
Thank you for this! everything works except when i sign in to hulu. it immediately makes the page black and the mouse cursor is frozen in the middle or a random message will popup saying firefox view
Hmm I know that some web browsers work better than others. I stoped using Chrome/Firefox because some streaming services don’t support it. I haven’t encountered a problem with Edge.
@@TLDAcademy I ended up changing the browser to edge and it worked!
Hell yea! I'm glad it worked for you!@@ChoClateMilk2
How do you exit RUclips in full screen? Note : I used chrome
I got through, had to lunch on game mode not desktop mode. Used the steam button to get the options to close “game” aka RUclips.
Hey, thanks for the watch. If you're in Desktop mode, just hit the L4 or L5 Button on the back and it should allow you to exit out of full screen. If you're in Game Mode, just click the Steam Button and end the program like you would a game.
Thanks for watching!
Please where can I find steam rom manager? I downloaded emudeck and can’t find steam rom manager please help
It doesn't work i tried it and when i click parse it says please shut down steam even though i did
Thx for the video. What résolution you get with this method ? Can you do netflix 4k via a dock ??
Mmm I don’t see why not? I don’t watch on dock mode, I just do 720 with the handheld mode.
But I mean sure, if the web browser supports that quality I don’t see why not. Let me know if it works! Thanks for the watch.
can you do this on gamepad?
You can do this with the game pad, but using a mouse and keyboard will help speed things up. Thanks for the watch!
Any way i can add different websites?
Just done that when I click on the cloud service it just bounces back to Home Screen 😢
Hey! Thanks for the watch.
Are you able to open up EmuDeck, and then open up Cloud Services Manager?
@@TLDAcademy got it sorted, I had to restart the steam deck to get them working. Thank you
@@jonnyp280 HECK YA! That's what I like to hear. Enjoy braddah!
Thanks so much !! Great work
Thanks for watching!
It looks like Peacock will still not work using the method :( I just get the sad cat eyes image. Any thoughts?
Netflix doesn't work. It says I have to use the latest version of firefox. How do I do that?
Pls I can’t find steam room manager
I imagine this is still opening just a web view onto those services? So you won’t get download options from the services, right?
Hey, thanks for the watch! Yes, you're correct. Unfortunately we have to wait for the streaming services to actually put out actual apps! (Which I doubt will ever happen)
@@TLDAcademy yeah i don't imagine they will! :( what other media options there are atm? (i mean with files that one might have stored)
do i need to have the apps downloaded before doing this?
When I open the “app” in game mode it’s just a browser for me. It’s not full screen like yours are. And when I click to login it just doesn’t load the next page.
Hey! Thanks for the watch. What browser are you using, or what’s the default browser you set it to?
Same here, it shows as a webpage as opposed to an ‘app’, i’m using firefox
I get an error when trying to play amazon video
What web browser are you using??
No Apple Music support ?
For Netflix does downloads work? Or just online streaming. I want to use on a plane so I need offline access.
Mine its not working 😕 on Netflix website is fine but when i want to play any movie is showin an error code M7702-1003 any advise?
when i click the more info button nothing happens. can someone help?
Im getting in Hbo Max that "is not available in your region" what is not true.
Hey there wanted to check the netflix app does not have download option to watch it offline?
Unfortunately no download option
Extremadamente agradecido, luego de buscar mucho por RUclips al fin encuentro esta maravilla de tutorial. Gracias.
Didn't work for me. Followed the steps but in the steam library under collections the actual apps aren't there but links to the websites. Edit: D+ and Netflix work now but Prime is a bit clunky to get to. Just a pain to have to go through the websites but they all get there. Thank you.
May I ask which web browser you used? I found that Microsoft Edge worked flawlessly for me. I know some of the streaming services didn’t play well with Chrome or Firefox.
I just installed it and it full screens and wont let me exit without a hard reboot? Like it doesn't show me the row with the X at the top right.
When you open it in desktop mode and it goes full screen, I press L4 I believe, the bottom button the back and it brings up a menu to get out of the window.
Of course when you’re in game mode, you can easily just press the Steam button to get home
@@TLDAcademy I reinstalled so once I try again I'll update if that works...I recall mashing the buttons and getting no response but I'll go slow and try that. Thx
Hey, how do I change what browser each app uses?
I completed the instructions, everything went smoothly until the end when switching to gaming mode, All the cloud services apps for me refuses to launch. Since this video is 4 months old, I don't know if being on the newest SteamOS software is what's causing it not to work? Any idea how to get it working?
A couple weeks ago I got my Steam Deck back from repair. I had to use this method and everything worked fine. My suspicions lead me to your web browser. I found that only Microsoft Edge works with the streaming services. Make sure you set the web browser to Microsoft Edge.
Unfortunately, that didn't work for me after changing the default browser to Microsoft edge and also rebooting the device.@@TLDAcademy
edited: I made Microsoft edge the default browser for the steam deck system instead of doing it through the cloud service manager settings. I just read the comment you pinned. Everything works now, ty for the help.
Does installing EMU Deck on the SD card present any issues? I'm assuming it does as my Steam ROM Manager will not install. Ty
Hey, sorry I didn't get to respond earlier, did you encounter any issues with installing it to the SD card? I'd imagine it would give the same result.
If this video solves my Crunchyroll issue that I can’t find any good answer too I’m going to explode with joy
I found that Microsoft Edge works the best with most streaming services.
Google Chrome wouldn’t let me play Crunchyroll anymore. I hope this helps!
It does thank you
how do you open the keyboard?
Press Steam button + x
Thanks for the watch! I hope you were able to figure it out haha
