Iv been trying to do this but it won’t work but the old method works for me Still so I don’t know I gota get someone to help me with it cus I’m just confused
Really? I’m glad the old way still works! 😅 thanks for the watch!
Spotify does not work for me using this method. Whenever I open it all it says is that playback protection isn’t enabled on this browser. I’ve tried it on both chrome and Firefox as the browser being used by emudeck.
Does installing EMU Deck on the SD card present any issues? I'm assuming it does as my Steam ROM Manager will not install. Ty
Hey, sorry I didn't get to respond earlier, did you encounter any issues with installing it to the SD card? I'd imagine it would give the same result.
Thank you for taking time to do this for us! Hulu doesn't work for me
Try using Microsoft Edge! I found. That’s the only browser that works with all the streaming services.
Can you download shows through it for off-line viewing?
No, this is pretty much a shortcut to your web browser. The streaming services do not have similar features to your smartphone apps
Valve should be doing everything in their power to add the big streaming apps and Google play games.
I have downloaded all the cloud service but their icons dorsnt show any image for each app. Why?
Hmmm interesting. Not sure why the images aren't there but I do have another video that'll help you add those images manually. Thanks for the watch!
im stock in steam rom manager, Cant click "Parse" button, it requires me to Create Parser before i proceed. And the parser config is too much for me.
Hey, thanks for the watch. I apologize for not replying sooner. Were you able to figure it out?
Also, I can't play any videos, they all give me errors about content protection.
Ah, it could be the browser you’re using. I switch from Google Chrome to Microsoft Edge and I’ve had no problems.
I imagine this is still opening just a web view onto those services? So you won’t get download options from the services, right?
Hey, thanks for the watch! Yes, you're correct. Unfortunately we have to wait for the streaming services to actually put out actual apps! (Which I doubt will ever happen)
@@TLDAcademy yeah i don't imagine they will! :( what other media options there are atm? (i mean with files that one might have stored)
Doesn’t work
I apologize for not answering back sooner. Were you able to figure it out?
It took a bit but I got it to work, my Steam ROM Manager didn't have a desktop app, so I opened it through EmuDeck. At first to looked different and didn't include Cloud Services, but after messing around a bit and updating the emulators it changed to match the video.
Sidenote: for some reason RUclips is only showing as RUclipsTV. I tried changing my selected services but it only showed RUclipsTV.
Edit: When I went in to check the first RUclipsTV option, it was actual RUclips so all good.
Which emulators did you update? I wonder if the cloud services not showing up in my steam rom manager is similar to this issue
@@KyleLimFultonDid u ever figure this out??
@@EastSide_LB yea I did! If you make sure all of your emulators are updated, through emudeck, it should look exactly like his video when you boot it up. It worked after that
@KyleLimFulton Yea I finally figured it out too. LoL I shoulda knew when my Steam Rom Manager didn't look like his in the video. 😂 Thanks for responding bro 🙏
My apps aren’t loading up when I hit “play” in the steam library.. I didn’t have steam ROM manager in my desktop either. I just did everything from emudeck but now I’m having a problem w my apps not working
Pls I can’t find steam room manager
Question: How do you get the artwork? All of mine are blank?
Hey! Thank you so much for the watch. The artwork should populate automatic through Steam Rom Manager. You can also do it manually and I show you how in this video: ruclips.net/video/cTaWfc3lUUU/видео.html
I hope that helps!
Thx for the video. What résolution you get with this method ? Can you do netflix 4k via a dock ??
Mmm I don’t see why not? I don’t watch on dock mode, I just do 720 with the handheld mode.
But I mean sure, if the web browser supports that quality I don’t see why not. Let me know if it works! Thanks for the watch.
you may wanna pin this:
the installer funktions as a script, so don't worry if you don't get the same screen as him
Thanks for that!
My apps are launching but not in full screen like yours. I followed the instructions but can’t figure out where I went wrong?
Hmmm that's interesting. Since Emu Deck does everything for you, it's hard to pinpoint where it went wrong. What web browser are you using with your steam deck?
@@TLDAcademy I am having this same issue
I tried both Microsoft Edge and Firefox. Neither launches in full screen
@@TLDAcademy Just wanted to let you know I was able to get it working! I ended up downloading Chrome and setting that as the default browser in Cloud Service Manager. Apps are launching full screen now.
@@kthx_bai ooo that’s awesome! It’s crazy how some people find Chrome to be the browser that works, whereas for me, chrome stop letting me streaming a Disney+ and paramount, so I got Microsoft Edge and that worked for me.
I’m glad you got it working! Thanks for the watch!!
When I try to run prime video, I somehow don't get the shows/films I had started displayed. When I start to look for something then, I somehow end up on the regular amazon store page. Am I too dumb to operate this? Please help :( currently using chrome, will give edge a try
Figured it out - I'm sent to the US amazon page and I need to adjust it manually to Germany. Luckily, there's a pop-up onscreen and once I'm logged in, it's all good.
Any idea how I can circumvent that step to directly end up on the right country page when starting up?
Hey, thank you so much for watching. I'm glad you were able to find a solution to your problem. I tried to look at the launch options on my Amazon Prime and there is nothing there. Since it's setup through EmuDeck, I'm not quite sure where I would start in figuring this out. I'm sorry!
my workaround was to instead install the android apps with waydroid, no need to rely on the terrible browser version
Interesting, you're the first person to share about that. There is so much you can do with this device! Thanks for the watch.
I completed the instructions, everything went smoothly until the end when switching to gaming mode, All the cloud services apps for me refuses to launch. Since this video is 4 months old, I don't know if being on the newest SteamOS software is what's causing it not to work? Any idea how to get it working?
A couple weeks ago I got my Steam Deck back from repair. I had to use this method and everything worked fine. My suspicions lead me to your web browser. I found that only Microsoft Edge works with the streaming services. Make sure you set the web browser to Microsoft Edge.
Unfortunately, that didn't work for me after changing the default browser to Microsoft edge and also rebooting the device.@@TLDAcademy
edited: I made Microsoft edge the default browser for the steam deck system instead of doing it through the cloud service manager settings. I just read the comment you pinned. Everything works now, ty for the help.
Hello, my keyboard won’t pull up with x button for crunchyroll help.
Hey Nathan, where you able to get it to work? Thanks for the watch!
Everything loads normally but nothing plays always get an error code of sorts any suggestions?
I was getting that because Google Chrome doesn’t allow you to stream Disney + or PeacockTV on Linux. I use Microsoft Edge and everything is flawless now.
Dude you are the best. Valve should be paying you bro. Thanks again
Thank you so much for the watch 🙏🏽🙏🏽
First I was so happy, seeing this Video, tried it and it woked, but when I want to start a video in disney plus it just shows me an allert #83 which I got before too.
Could anyone already fix this?
I read the other comments an tried the edge browser an it is working now!! Thank you so so much guys
@@haror9922 yeessss!!! I’m so glad you were able to trouble shoot and get it to work. Yea, I ditched Google Chrome after it wasn’t playing me the video content on Disney and Paramount. Edge Browser FTW!
Thank you for this! everything works except when i sign in to hulu. it immediately makes the page black and the mouse cursor is frozen in the middle or a random message will popup saying firefox view
Hmm I know that some web browsers work better than others. I stoped using Chrome/Firefox because some streaming services don’t support it. I haven’t encountered a problem with Edge.
@@TLDAcademy I ended up changing the browser to edge and it worked!
Hell yea! I'm glad it worked for you!@@ChoClateMilk2
Excellent explanation ⭐️ But if I want to install other applications after that what should I do!
As far as ACTUAL applications outside of the discovery store, not sure. But if you want to install a URL or web app, I have another video that is similar to this process, that will allow you to install it as a game in gaming mode.
NOT wanting X is like saying SELL my data and take away my freedom to speak. Dislike for you MPC.
Doesn’t work fir me, my cloud services are not showing up
This guy is shit at explaining, you need to toggle on Cloud Services in the Toggle Parsers area, I got it working now.
App keeps crashing when I launch the apps. Any suggestions?
Sorry I'm only responding to this now...did you fix it? I'd imagine it's something to do with the browser you are using?
Ok if you open in desktop, HOW THE HECK DO YOU EXIT IT.
Ooooof 😬 I found for some reason the L5 or L4 button asks like a ‘Windows’ button that brings up the menu of your desktop. Try that out. If not, connect a mouse/keyboard and see if you can get out. Sorry!
Appreciate the watch btw
Great video thank you sir
Hey, thanks for watching! I appreciate the feedback.
I tried this however when I open the app it says video unavailable, anyone else have this happen to them?
It happened to me when I was using Chrome as my default browser. For some reason, it won’t allow you Ti play certain streaming services. Try using Microsoft Edge as the default browser.
Not available without paying right?
Correct. You need to have subscription to all the services.
What about download movies?
🤔
Hey thanks for watching! No, you cannot download movies. It just opens up a full screen shortcut that allows you to watch those streaming services through the web browser.
how do you get the steam deck to work like mouse and keyboard when in the app. I cant click anything i always have to touch the screen to play a video or select anything
NVM FIGURED IT OUT!
Sorry I wasn't able to respond right away, but I'm glad you were able to figure it out! Thanks again for the watch.

why can't I put in full screen it just opens firefox with the netflix link?
Hey, thanks for the link! I’m not sure, I use Microsoft Edge for my default browser and it works fine. Try setting the default browser to Microsoft Edge vs Firefox to see if that fixes it.
Thanks for the watch!
@@TLDAcademy how do you change the web browser because when I downloaded Emu deck on edge it just put fire fox again and it wasn’t full screen
I did all the steps but when I open steam rom manager, the apps doesn't show, maybe because I'm using the sd card ?
Please where can I find steam rom manager? I downloaded emudeck and can’t find steam rom manager please help
I'm not getting a cloud services category option after Parsing on Emudeck, only my game roms are there even when i manually scroll through it. (I followed the video step by step)
I just did it again myself after getting my Steam Deck repaired. Open EmuDeck (scroll down)>Cloud Services Manager>Click More Info>Click Manage Cloud Services.

Unfortunately there isn’t any type of ‘official’ apps from these streaming services so we’re at the mercy of the web browsers and their compatibility with the streaming services.
I found that Microsoft edge works the best with all the streaming services so I hope that fixes it for you.
