Thank you, love your Videos! How can I choose which Emulator should start my Switch Game via ES-DE? Ryujinx and Yuzu is installed. ES-DE starts everytime with Ryujinx. Directly in GameMode it starts with Yuzu, cuz I parsed only this one.
I've heard stories of people with this issue. Can you drop on our Discord so we can get more information? I'd like to better understand what might be causing this.
@@Darkunii just set everything up again and now emudeck works! Ya don't have to delete anything. Just need to setup everything again. Sorry about that comment.
That is because in Game Mode, EmuDeck uses steam input to facilitate controller settings so you don't have to mess with it. Multiple controllers will only work in desktop mode since you don't use the steam input there.
I tried to install it on my linux PC, but ES-DE only shows an "Emulators" folder on it's home page, and inside of it, it shows our installed emulators. This wasn't supposed to happen this way, right?
@@Darkuni When I add roms to the forlders, the emulators still pop up to show them, but the same thing happed to me on my Steam Deck as this comment. It brought the Emulators folder showing the emulators and Xbox360 as if I had put roms in it already (I haven't yet) with Xenia in it in to Emulation Station
@@Darkuni Nah, nevermind, the proper emulator option showed just after I have placed a rom in it's correspondent folder haha thx (and btw, there's a 'linux' option in the download section of Emudeck's website that I think it's distro agnostic - at least it worked on my Pop_os!)
Thank you as well. This is by far the best tutorial for the current version of Emudeck. Finally got it installed on my steam deck. Thank you again!!!
Will have to catch this on the reply when I get home from work, thanks Monroe!

@@danielkosak8250 you go into ESDE and it should be under "other settings" then Alternative Emulators.
Thank you very much for this!👍
Very happy to be able to provide this to you!
When i go log back into emudeck its always giving me a fresh start screen and i can't gi manage anything. Help! SRM work on it's own but not emudeck 😢

Are you one of the dev team?
Ive had a lot of trouble getting multiple controllers to work in game mode. In desktop mode they seem fine.

@@Fosho-c6j the weird thing is I can see all controllers in steam input, but the n64 emulator stops recognising them

No. I've never installed this on a "Linux PC" proper; the build on the website says "SteamOS" - there COULD be some sort of issue?

@@Fosho-c6j There are so many variables here. Perhaps drop by discord and drop some screenshots.

Anyone else having problem with controls on ppsspp standalone on emudeck?
I haven't tested. Have you reset PPSSPP's config? SOMETIMES this works.
@Darkuni I got it to work by adding the emulator using emudeck, opening it then map each button. For some reason emudeck map it to the keyboard
@@afizsouji Thanks for reporting. I'll circle back and check it out - perhaps there is a quick fix I can get from the developer to share.
FYI, I just fired up GOW and the controls were perfect; launched from ESDE.
