I'm actually quite shocked at the speed of this machine and it is due to lack of a gantry style engraving system. Lightning fast in comparison to an open frame system. Just incredible. I'm not sure if I'm a master at engraving or not, but I'm not stranger to diode laser engravers and what they do and how to manipulate them. This machine is definitely worth looking at if you are interested in laser engraving. Thanks for tuning in and for the kind words.
Outstanding. I want one!! A terrific show and a great product demo. It’s an amazing machine.
It does have some limitations due to its size but for smaller engravings, this machine is incredible. Fast, compact, portable and dual lasers which enable it to engrave way more materials than a diode laser alone. I'm impressed with what I've seen so far. @@acutabove_woodworkings I do have the 10W D1 Pro and it serves me well for what I use it for but the ability to laser metal and very small text (used on some of the models) would be a perfect ad. I even thought about selling the D1 and going with the F1 Portable but realized that the size limitation might be something to consider thoroughly before moving. I know the F1 has the slide extension but not sure if that would solve sizing issue. But the clarity and speed are certainly impressive.
@@pdwoodwerkz9625 I will be producing a show in the near future on the F1 slide extensions and fume extractor. When those shows air, I hope it will help you make a decision. The D1 Pro is a good machine also. I have the 20 watt version and it's been one of my "go to" lasers since I purchased it. If you have any questions at all, feel free to ask.

Thanks Kenny yes it will engrave on bigger than the stand bottom . I shopped around a bit. I am wanting to sign and date wood bowls and other stuff i make.

will this engrave a logo on a 16 inch wood bowl bottom or just wider than the base area?
Sorry for the late reply Joseph. You can engrave the centres of the bowls but you will have to remove the bottom working plate of the laser. I hope that made sense. Thanks for tuning in.
