So Greg and Habib, the marathon of watching your Nail School videos continues. Synergy Gel pt. 1 & 2. I’ve watched them numerous times. I get it and I love it! Each time I’ve watched them, I picked up what I missed the previous time. Other companies do offer the product breakdown and explanation during their hands-on workshops and I’ve enjoyed them as well. However, for me, the investment in the company/product/customer relationship is the availability to meet my needs immediately: go-to training beyond the classroom, and live, attentive, caring customer service. Your videos and follow-up within 24 hours says your on top of it. Thank you!
I love that you guys do all this work and put the amount of effort into educating us all for free. I used that finger move for putting on forms today! Love it! Game changer! THANK YOU for these 2 videos. There are so many nail salons I've been to in NJ/NY that use your products. I'm starting to learn how to use these and I cannot believe I've never searched you on youtube until now! I hope I can post some of my finished products in the future 🙈
Great video. Thank you for taking the time and sharing this information. I always come away learning something new from each and every one of your videos.

So I went to nail school in back home Sarasota FL. I am so happy to watch your page and I can relate to Tracy because I am new to all the gel products. Just got your bond... Excited to try. Ty
Yeah the technique with the French was really helpful. I’ve been getting a lot of French styles lately, and I’ve been kinda winging it with the hard gels. It took so much time. This methods looks way more efficient.

Can you tell us some other applications for flex gel? I just use it for glitter mixes... any tricks for other uses of your products is appreciated. You guys and Tracy ROCK!! ❤
Would you guys recommend using an acrylic brush rather than a gel brush? After watching this video I think I’d rather use an acrylic brush for gels! Thank you for this video! I always find them helpful 😊
When your done using the concealer pink to create smile line; do you cut the rest of nail off (on practice hand) then build the free edge with the clear sculptor
Usually if you let them sit for a while, the bubbles will come up to the surface. You can use a brush or orange wood stick to pop them on the surface. The challenge is to keep from getting bubbles in the first place 😊 If you need to mix your gels, stir them gently & try not to “whip” air into it. If you are getting bubbles in your gel when you are picking up product & pulling a string of it, keep your brush closer to the surface & let the string break away before you move across the jar.
great videos, thanks! i have 2 questions still: i didn’t really understand the difference between flex and build. and the difference between gloss and finish. thank you x

Hi guys! Super helpful video! I wanted to ask what is the difference between Absolute Pink and Frosted Pink. I don’t see you mention these here. Thank you in advance!
About the gel. (Sorry I'm a new learner so im not that smart. Only been doing my own nails for a year almost.) Sometimes, mostly with my thumb,by the time I get to my ring finger(even after flash curing) I have a runny or watery liquid all over my thumb. I'm assuming I'm trying to work too fast but even when I think I cure long enough (I'm doing one hand and starting at one side then coming back to the other for the next step) it gets a liquid substance all over my fingers. I also just bought my products so they aren't old or separated. I'm sorry that was long but I was trying to give the most information I can. I'm just confused as to what I might be doing wrong.
If your product is running, try applying your product on 1-2 nails at a time and cure them until they don't move (30 seconds) then finish the next 1-2, cure for 30 seconds, do the thumbs separately and fully cure the whole hand for 60 seconds. If you are still having issues with your product running, you may need a new light (if it's older, it can lose it's curing power even if the lights still come on) or you may want to try using a thicker, less self leveling gel. In the Synergy line, we always recommend starting with a layer of Base for the best adhesion and then the Sculptor gels are thicker and less likely to run. Clear Sculptor in the pot is the thickest, non-leveling gel.
Can we put acrylic on top to finish the look? I have a lot of colors acrylic and always find it hard to self build the nail with acrylic. The synergy Build looks easier. But still want to use my acrylics ontop.
Which brush are you using here? I have 2 of your synergy gel brushes, they don't look like this one your using, I think I'd like to try this one, I like the shape much better!
So Greg I know I'm late to this gel party but what size brush is best for both gel e acrylic. Ps do you have kits to buy? Thank you for tip on not removing the tacky layer now I know where I went wrong. How do you know which heels are self levelling e the other gel non levelling? Best brand
does the Flex gel have the same tensile strength as sculptor gel? meaning can it be used over longer tips? or is it a more bendy gel similar to soft gel?
I am new to watching nail school and I am so hooked! I am dying to take a class of yours! I want to buy this whole system, brush too. Can I call your shop to help me get all the components I need? I'm having some issues logging into your website. Thanks!
We don't necessarily prefer one over the other but we prefer to sculpt with forms over using tips. As for dual forms we do like using our full cover tips for that with our hard gel as well. We have great videos on that.
before applying the base gel would you prep normally, add the protein bond, then go in with the base gel? also can you still use nail tips with the hard gel? one more question 😭 is hard gel a good alternative to acrylic nails? i have a friend who wants her nails done but is allergic to acrylic nails, so i’m trying to find something that will work for her
Yes, prep normally, protein bond twice, then base gel, then builder or sculptor gel, then one of the top coats or gloss gel. Hard gel is a great alternative to acrylic and will be very strong and durable. A lot of people who are sensitive to acrylic or just don't like it use hard gel instead.
If you are adding gel over the full coverage tip once it's applied, this would be considered a full set and you would charge that price. However, if you are just applying them as a temporary set and only applying the tip with no enhancement, you may charge less as it is less product, time and technique.
@YoungNailsInc What’s the difference between your mani q soft gel and you synergy base hard gel???....which one would you prefer to use on a natural nail for a simple gel polish manicure? Or does it not matter & how many coats would you say to use, 2-3 or 1-2?

Very informative video, Thanks so much Greg!
For prep would it be the same has if it was acrylic, take off shine, dehydrator, protein bond? & is swipe the dehydrator?
Yes, it is the same for both acrylic and hard gel. Swipe is our cleanser/dehydrator.

Hey, do you use this as a builder?

About the gel. (Sorry I'm a new learner so im not that smart. Only been doing my own nails for a year almost.) I'm assuming I'm trying to work too fast but even when I think I cure long enough (I'm doing one hand and starting at one side then coming back to the other for the next step) it gets a liquid substance all over my fingers. I also just bought my products so they aren't old or separated.
I'm sorry that was long but I was trying to give the most information I can. I'm just confused as to what I might be doing wrong.

Acrylic over gel doesn’t work as well as gel over acrylic.
Which one of these gels would be the best for a natural nail overlay, just to add strength? For some reason builder keeps separating at the free edge
All will work just depends what you like to work with, build or clear sculptor. Always be sure to use protein bond and base gel first

Quick question! Would there be a different charge for building the sculpted gel nails then using a full cover tip?
If you are adding gel over the full coverage tip once it's applied, this would be considered a full set and you would charge that price. However, if you are just applying them as a temporary set and only applying the tip with no enhancement, you may charge less as it is less product, time and technique.
Wondering if i could use a coat or 2 of the base gel to avoid soaking off gel polish?
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! 😍🙌👍
❤️❤️❤️
@YoungNailsInc What’s the difference between your mani q soft gel and you synergy base hard gel???....which one would you prefer to use on a natural nail for a simple gel polish manicure? Or does it not matter & how many coats would you say to use, 2-3 or 1-2?
ManiQ is soft as in can be soaked off. Synergy gel is hard, can not be filed off. Both are great just depends on what your removal process is.
Is this product available to buy if so were would i get it and great video btw
If you are a professional you can purchase direct through our website www.youngnails.com
