#garage79r Stumbled across this low cost oil catch can, air/oil separator on the Ebay and was so impressed with it, I had to make a video and share about it. www.ebay.com/i...
I’ve put a sponge inside to filter the oil even further..but mine which it’s pretty similar to that came with 6an and 8an fitting and i really don’t know how to use them since I’m from Europe.. i guess I’ll be buying fitting like yours.. what size are those and how are they called ? And do you need some fittings as well on the other end ?!
Mine is just like that, but included the real rubber hoses and the steel mech for filtering. I paid $19.99+tax
Hmm, interesting it looks exactly like the ripp Superchargers catch can but the internals are a little different and the and they run about $200
Looks awesome for the price!
Please don’t put steel wool in your catch can. Guess what happens when a piece breaks off. Detonation or engine damage.
You do have a point and that thought did come across my mind packing the one I put in my Highlander several months ago.
You're right. However, there are stainless steel, coiled pot scrubbers that don't have this problem.

These particular ones come with 'barb' fittings. However I do not know the size of the threaded end where they screw into the unit.
Alessandro fittings are 2 x 9mm fitting ( 6mm diameter )
2 x 15mm fitting ( 10mm diameter )
How well did this thing end up working for ya?
I have these on a few vehicles and still doing seemingly well.
Have 3 of these on my Lance lol
