RIP Astro. This guy was the heart and soul of UB40 and after hearing of his passing means it wont be the same without him. I was lucky enough to meet him once and was a truly down to earth guy. Astro rest in peace.

Im 63,year old brummie and proud to associated with a such talent, I remember buying even mail newspaper and seen advert it read up n coming local reggae band need saxaphone player ,These lads used to practice in a garage in Newtown .I seen them ver20 times at various concerts .ub40will live on forever respect to them 💙

i have been a big ub4o fan for many many years,,when they split i thought without the voice of ub4o,,,ALI the band was no more,,i no longer listen to ub40 because there is no such band really but afer watching this vid with the voice of ub40,,,ali singing and spare part astro i now know ub40 are dead and buried no longer a band to listen to but at least i was blessed to hear them when they did exist thanks for the memories lads was good while it lasted ,,,rip brian travis

No chance of Ali Campbell making amends with robin Campbell that one I would put money on I've loved UB40 original band members since they first started out and to me Ali Campbell and astro rip will always be the voice of UB40 original band members at least Ali Campbell can sing and what the Frick was Duncan Campbell all about taking over as lead vocalist first he can't sing and 2nd the only musical background he has is playing the spoons in there dad's folk group and Gilly g ain't a patch on the late astro rip legend you were here and thanks for the memories XXX not forgetting Brian Travers rip both of you xxx

I wish i met them in person. Growing up in Samoa on the radio all we listen to is UB40, Bob Marley, Lucky Dube, Jimmy Cliff, Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, Jonny cash, Kenny Rogers, Merle Haggard, Hank Williams, and some of the greatest of country musicians. I had a very great childhood flavors in music.

We have a loss some very important and legendary reggae artists this past few months it breaks my heart. From Toots and the Maytals and then the one only the great Wake the town and tell the people brother U-Roy died too and then Jah B the iconic Bunny Wailer the only surviving original wailer died too and now Astro dead too. Tears from my eyes keep on falling!! RIP Astro

Astro real name Terry Wilson was in my English class with Mr Langley around 1973 in Golden Hillock Comprehensive School In Birmingham! I used to have Mickey Virtue company me in the canteen where we used to have our school dinners! I met Ali and the boys in Saleem's Balti Curry house in Ladypool Road early '80s. Great times!! I see the boys still chew gum whilst singing! Lol
