Welcome to another instalment on exploringdudes. On this episode I'm joined by trooper1804 as we explore an abandoned prisoner of war camp. The pow camp was set up 1941 and inprisoned Italian soldiers, later it inprisoned German Italian and Austrian prisoners of war. These people were sent out to work by Land girls of the era in 1943-1944 to helping farm the lands across Essex. Helping the war effort and building what we know as Essex today. Not to much to see in this explore but was still good to see what these people had to live with. Enjoy!
