  • Sunny Hostin was interviewed in a PRIME LATINO MEDIA Salón exclusively devoted to independent Latina multimedia-makers, actors and musicians entitled, CELEBRATING WOMEN IN LATINO ARTS. Asunción Cummings Hostin, known professionally as Sunny Hostin, is a U.S. lawyer, columnist, journalist, and television host. She is co-host on ABC’s morning talk show The View for four years as well as the Senior Legal Correspondent and Analyst for ABC News. Sunny was born in New York City to a Puerto Rican mother, Rosa Beza, and an African-American father, William Cummings. She is fluently bilingual in English and Spanish. But she previously worked at Fox News program, The O’Reilly Factor where she appeared on the show's "Is It Legal?" segments, regularly debating with Bill O’Reilly and Megyn Kelly. Then in 2019 the film Bombshell premiered starring Charlize Theron (playing Megyn Kelly), Nicole Kidman (Gretchen Carlson) and Margot Robbie (Kayla Pospisil), and is based upon the accounts of several women at Fox News who set out to expose CEO Roger Ailes for sexual harassment contributing to his downfall shortly before his death in 2017, as Sunny cites her past experiences and those of her colleagues at the network in this interview with host, TíoLouie of PRIME LATINO MEDIA Salón.
