I swear if they replaced the non-original music and assets in the game then put it on steam, it would do numbers! And if they did do that then any custom characters could be uploaded to the Steam Workshop for it
Party crasher channel introduced me to this game and I’m so happy that I found this game. The replayability is endless in this game and I hope this game continues to get updated as much as possible with new content like boards, items, minigames and more.
Typhloquil here. Good to see this out now! I've been involved with the project for about 2 or so years now, and I love seeing how it's evolved up until it gained some attention in the mainstream. Char's done a phenomenal job making a party game that's fun first and foremost. From behind the scenes, I can tell every decision that's made is fueled by that love for Mario Party and implementing it for pure enjoyment. Any time there's a suggestion run by the team to give feedback on, it's always for balancing in order to make the board play and strategy more enjoyable. I'm flattered to have been able to work on the game and get my own board implemented (I did the art, path layout and happening space ideas for Puffy Paradise, again, massive shout-out and thank you to Char for implementing it as well as making the space layout of the board, he's the GOAT). I wanted to personally thank you for shouting out my mods, it put a big dumb smile on my face. I try my best to make them match the official style, as I love how the little character sprites look and they're super fun to draw. Been on a hiatus for a while because I have a lot on my plate (as well as other projects I'm working on) but I'm still going to be creating mods. It's really fun for me and I like making stuff that other people get to use and enjoy. Seeing the use of Costume Party Project makes me want to try making another costume pack one day, it's great to see people appreciating the vanilla cast. Thank you again for the shout out! Hope you continue to enjoy playing :)
@@ZeRaiden Thank you! I love working on them when I have the free time for mods. I like making them look as official as possible so they can meld with the base game :)
Awesome video! I really appreciate you acknowledging a lot of the design aspects and hearing your thoughts on the vanilla cast and original boards! Modding support was a miracle due to the engine which is why the implementation was kinda jank and the download block exists. I'm glad you're enjoying the game regardless, thank you for playing! :)
This looks like a blast, especially if you have friend to play a match with. Would of loved to have this in my childhood games . Thanks for sharing and the video spacey. Keep it up I lov your videos.
Hey neat I didn't know about this, and now I do and already am thinking about using this as a way to get some friends together with it, thanks a ton :D
13:11 what normally happens on the discord server is they would also put the assets on the post they are making, so if this sort of thing happens then they can just recreate it
9:25 In the newest update. me and 2 others played with an AI and that AI (Bart Simpson) would pull some of the most big brained moments with their items off all time. Ended up getting over 100 something coins in 1 turn on the final 5 turns
@@SpaceySoundy omg I didn’t know that…I wanted to put shuffle on my Steamdeck for the longest time but wasn’t sure how it’d work out bc of how dependent it was on having a vmu. Thank you!!!
This game looks pretty cool, might consider showing it to friends. The art style and original characters are adorable. Though I wonder if that Morshu is a normal part of the game? Feels a bit too memey. Smash Tour was awesome, but my siblings didn't like it too much cause they had to use random characters... I always thought it was better than Smash Run on 3DS.
I've been following the project for a while as well have contributed, and as far as I can tell, he was a placeholder but was kept because... why not I suppose. He's a staple now.

Now I’m not sure I can trust you.
Jokes aside this looks fantastic.
No matter what you talk about you always make me want to play it. Even if I have little interest in the genre.
you definitely got me to download this game! >:) thank you for the rec spacey!

Will you do a video on the game's unique Boards?
2:58 i play as strix when i play party project
I hope they will add a built-in online multiplayer.
dude this is probably a silly question but howd you get the game to display your cards in vs mode at 1:10 ? is it an emulator only thing?
iirc, this was built in to the game if it detected you didn't have any VMUs.
On emulators, this should happen if you disable the VMU.

Actually my fave mario party game before party project was MP8
So from what I can gather,
This game is MP Superstars but good.
It's pronounced "MAY-FEE" tsk tsk tsk (good video it's a good game)
how exactly do i play with me friends?
you have to use a program named parsec, It acts as an alternative online mode for most games
@@n0v_aa Look in to Parsec.
13:19 me totally not salty that my marie poppo mod broke
