The Swedish Investor Hi mate, do you do all your graphics yourself? Do you use video scribe for your video? Thanks. (I am aspiring to start my own channel shortly. Appreciate some guidance on your tools and tricks. Thanks)
Very nice summary of my favorite book of all time. I return to it again and again. For those who are especially interested, I also recommend reading Warren Buffet's Berkshire Hathaway Annual Letters, and watching/listening to the annual meetings on youtube (which I'm doing now.) Warren and Charlie are some of the best teachers ever.
Awesome. I read the books you review and still watch the videos in case I didnt retain something or forgot something and also to get a visual in my head!
I will definitely read the Almanack. Found it on the Web. It is a legendary book I've heard of many times before, but not translated into my native Bulgarian yet.
For the average investor (by definition most people) then the best course of action to 'Not being stupid' is to not try to beat the market. Invest in the Vanguard S&P 500 ETF or All world ETF. If 80 percent of so called experts fail to beat the market, why should the rest of us even try? Psychologically it's far easier to make regular contributions to an ETF than to try to pick individual stocks. As an index ETF investor I WELCOME falls in the market the same as I'd welcome lower food prices..
I think there's much truth to that statement. Most people should invest regularly in a cheap index fund or follow a system like The Magic Formula. However, my hope is that most people watching this channel can be educated to a level where they don't have to be like most people :)

This book is full of wisdom. A Teenager’s Guide on how to Invest Like Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger teaches the investment principles key to their success.
Great resume! From my point of view this one is the "Bibble" of the value investor, instead of "The Intelligent Investor", and would even deserve an extra "5 Takeaways" of some of its chapters. Please do It If possible, specially on Talk Eleven called "The Psichology of Human Misjudgement".
Daniel Araújo Lima thanks a ton for your support! I do agree that this is a great book. I agree with you, this is a great one. The series about Charlie Munger's mental models that I'm producing right now is partly based on the talks in this book. Together with input from other books such as "Damn Right", "Seeking Wisdom" and of course everything that Munger has ever said during BH annual meetings (there's a ton of info there too).
A funny thing happened the other day: A strange old codger with a cane showed up and laid THIS book on me..... said he was my distant relative, I didn’t see the resemblance
Charles Munger is more of a businessman than Warren Buffett, Buffet is the friendly face in Berkshire Hathaway. Munger loves to get down to business and point the elephant in the room. In business, we need a social person and one to get down to details. Love the book review, keep sharing Swedish Investor.
