Howard said in the postgame interview “when I came to OSU they didn’t promise me the Job I had to compete” The confidence in himself as well as the leadership Howard displayed McCord just didn’t have. Howard 100% was the guy for the job. His legs also came up big on key downs in the playoffs

That 20 million dollar shit is such loser ass talk, everyone can go it, OSU beat the 2 teams with more expensive rosters and Michigan spent 16 million😂 they weren't a bad team they just had a horrible season. If they went 9-3 or sum shit nobody would bat an eye at anything. Michigan has a 13 million dollar qb coming in but for the next 20 years we'll hear about OSU had a 20 million dollar team😂 that was entirely made of 4 and 5 year seniors other than a handful of guys. The best team won... That's how the shit is supposed to work. There were like 10 teams over 15 million dollars. That's like one star player difference in talent😂

as an nd fan, totally agree with you. The narrative of osu roster spending was dumb. ND spent more lol. We had a lot of injuries which def hurt us, but osu was still better either way. Osu put it on early, and it was too much for us to handle. Great game by the bucks. But, under Freeman, nd will be back in these big games again next year. Let's see how they respond next year. Offense has to improve. But either way, great game by the bucks and they deserved and earned that win (also saying that as someone from ohio who is def not a buckeye fan lol). But again, totally agree with you about the osu roster. They didn't spend the most. They were just better. OSU having 2 losses (especially the Michigan loss) was crazy, but that lit the fire under them. Sometimes losses are blessings in disguise, and I think that was def the case for OSU this year. Great game for you guys, and congrats on the win. Again, coming from a heartbroken ND fan lol

Their running game isn't that good, aside from explosives, to milk the clock. The offensive line just isn't built for 3 yards and a cloud of dust game.

@@iykyk230 two different thousand yard backs, with over 20 touchdowns between them. The running game was just fine. you moron's don't know football. Go look at the stats. The difference between Ohio State and traditional "running football" teams is Ohio State just doesn't need to run the ball that much with passing threats like Jeremiah Smith, and Carnell Tate.

Joe we can tell you don't like the Buckeyes. Don't be so damn biased. Be happy for the Buckeyes. First off Kyle McCord has a melt down and threw five picks in the damn ACC this year. How about let him practice with the freshman and JV before he comes up to varsity. Any player that leaves because the pressure is too hard is a quitter. I wouldn't want a teammate like that on my team especially a QB that is supposedly our leader. Did Will Howard make mistakes vs Oregon in the last six seconds and Michigan? Of course he is human. All humans make mistakes and they are not perfect. By the way I am about to go crazy if I hear about OSU spending $20 million in NIL money and we are supposed to look that way. First off every team has the same opportunity we have to do the same and second Texas and Oregon both spent more than OSU but we don't hear about them. Joe sounds like a broken record and he has to be either a Notre Dame or Michigan Fan but I can't stand listening to him for another second. My apologies to Blake because I do enjoy listening to someone intelligent that actually knows football and sports. Before Joe says anything I do have a National Championship Ring myself so when you earn one then talk to me. 💯💯💯💯💯

There isn’t a chance we win the natty with McCord. He’s way too mistake prone. If you watched us last season, you would know that his raw production stats are not telling the story. We saw it this season where he single handedly lost them a game with pick 6s in the first half.

  • @123456drob

Your McCord take shows you don’t know much about football. In order for Ohio state’s offense to run properly, you have to have a guy willing to run. As you’ve showcased, you never watched McCord. He didn’t ever run last year. He had like 10 intentional groundings. So no Ohio state would have had the same result as last year. Talent beats most teams but without a dog at QB, the offense lacks depth. Take your dog shit take somewhere else.

We had the worst RPO game of the Day era w/ McCord. The legs of Howard were the biggest asset the offense acquired last offseason. It was a factor again & again this year. Howard unlocked Day’s offense

Kyle McCord gets no credit. He chose to leave. He didn't want to compete.the offense would not look the same with him under the gun. All the runs that Howard succeeded would not have worked with McCord. OSU fans are over with McCord. His exit was best for all parties.

Kirby is what against Bama? The only reason Day lost to TCUN this year was because the game plan was flawed... an the kicker missed two chip shots. McCord and Howard had eerily simiar games against TCUN. 🤔e.g. Pick near their own goal line. What does this say? TO me: Pucker up, conservative game plan. McCord actually played a little better and scored more points against a vastly superior TCUN team, supposedly. 🤔I would argue Day's trying a 50 yard FG at the end of half on the TCUN 38 yard line was a case in point pucker. And the non-pick by Burke in the end zone? OSU could have won that game very realistically.... The unbeatable 15-0 juggernaut.
