I am letting my nieces with Littles know about your Books and Brushes class. Thank you so much for sharing. I paint along with you often. You always make your projects look achievable and it makes me happy to create something pretty, put it on a card and send it off to cheer someone else. Thanks again Emma, I have learned a lot from you.
The beauty of watercolor is the artist and what flows from there creations. Thank you for the tutorials, learning so much. Stay safe and looking forward to more of your works.
Thank you SO very much for continuing to put up such lovely content in these strange times. I am a healthcare worker and find your videos calming and they also inspire me to paint when I have a moment for self care. Keep it up! You're keeping me up :)
So you are a kindergarten teacher? How wonderful is that? It takes a special person to teach anyone but the babies? Oh my that is extraordinary and I applaud you for doin this. Arent they the most special people to teach? Learning is so important and so full of wonder and fun. Thank you Emma for always helping us and putting up with our questions. You are a dear young woman. Would you mind if I traced the leaves? I have tried the leaf shape and Emma I cant draw a stick man let alone the leaves. I just need to practice on something for muscle memory. Thank you. I understand if you say no
This was exactly what I needed! How did you know? 30 seconds ago, I was thinking that what I needed for my project (for a friend far away) was some leaves, and I wasn’t feeling very inventive. Now, I think I can do this. Thanks.
You make the best silver eucalyptus color! My Da Vinci's are very different than W&N. (&I love Cotman!). The Bee paper has been unavailable for months. Fortunately, my sweet hubs bought me a pack, + a few black spiral Bee wc books. I think their paper is a terrific runner up. Your leaves here are GORG! Esp the negative ones that elude me still. Thanks for all the gifts to take up our days. I'm getting spoiled! :) Frances Turano Denver, CO
Frances Turano yes! The bee paper is unavailable and it makes me very sad. I have 1 more pack and the rest of that note book and I’m try to use it sparingly! I got a find a second runner up to my arches now!
Thank you for sharing 😊. I play around with different leaves like you do. There is one thing I do is use a light scraping when the leaf is almost dry but still plyable and scratch out those veins in those leafs. Don't scratch to hard very lightly. It's cool because it is more real looking. You can do the same with rocks. Scratch out those rocks. You can use a credit card or pallet knife. It's a really cool affect in watercolor. Acrylics can't have everything. Lol. Yeah it does take time to learn but it's fun. Are you going to do your live videos anymore? I enjoyed them until the trolls interrupted. Ok well I enjoyed the different types of leaf's you introduced us to. Thank you and have a great day 😊😎🌴 FL.
Have you ever tried using a credit card? You do your leaf then use the credit card to slide over the paint for your veins. You will see a line, and it dries darker. I like the stylized leaves a lot.
That is a nice look, Paula Roper. I've used the credit card for really wet foreground grasses--greens, browns. Also makes terrific foreground messy wet rocks!
Do you plan on adding more videos about primary colors to your other channel? My son is Autistic and loves colors and shapes and we'd love to see more from you in that area!
Thank you for another great video! I am looking for something to use as my support board under my paper so I don't tape it to my desk.. do you have any diy ideas about what could I use instead please? Or is it neccesary to use a board at all? It's hard to get any art supplies where I live.. Thank you!!! 🎨
Hi i enjoy ur videos. Im a very very green nubie and was wondering if u have written any instructional books. And if not r there some books u would recommend for a green nubie like me. Thanks.
Emma, I've watched tons of your videos, but have rarely tried painting. 😏 The little painting I have done, I've left the paint in the little palettes and then when I take them out to use them, the dried paint falls out. Can you help?
Hi Emma, where can I find such a Watercolor Paper, I have only great glued akvrellpapper. It's hard to find different things in Sweden, and I like your white color, I have none. So beautiful leavs you do, thank you, tess from Sweden
@@amberallen9287 We are ALL looking for Bee paper whether in books or sheets. Amazon's been out for months, but thought I'd try Dick Block or Cheap Joes. More money probably, but at least we'd have it if they have it for sale.
After watching 1626738 videos. This is the video that finally taught me how to make my own style of leaves! Thank you!
How did I miss this video when I started making leaves? This is great! Thanks Emma. 🥰
I just went to your books and brushes channel and I am SO excited to show it to my daughter!!!!

Emma, thank you so much for making these videos, they are so informative and i learned a lot from them.
Lovely leaves will have a go at these thankyou
The beauty of watercolor to me is not to control it, let it go where it wants, it has a mind of it’s own. I love the very stylized leaves❣️
💞 I need this! Thanks. 👏💖💞
Owesome tutorial. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for telling us about your children's art videos. !
That was easy, fun and relaxing! I needed that! Thank you!!❤️❤️
To my mind, if you want “perfect” then watercolor probably isn’t a good choice to use.The beauty of watercolor is it’s refusal to stay where it’s put😀
I love the placement of your RUclips plaque 🥰

Anastazia L if you have cardboard, that works. Or the hard cardboard from the back of a pad of watercolour paper

Can you use white acrylic as ink?
She mentioned a botanical book that uses for reference in one of her videos. Anyone remember the name of that book?
What spiral notebook are you using.
Thank you x
I hope you can find an alternative to bee paper because I don't have it available where I live. :(

Hi Emma ! Are you in Patreon?
I so badly want this watercolor journal. But I can't find it anywhere.
Amber Allen I know, it seems as though bee paper is out of business :(
@@EmmaLefebvre aww I hope not! I love using their paper. But I've been waiting months for them to restock that on Amazon.
