Sad to see Christy died today. He was as natural a golfer as there ever was, and one of life's true gentlemen. He was Ireland's Arnold Palmer...or maybe it was the other way round. When an entire country refers to you as "Himself", that says it all. RIP, Christy.

At 0.55 you can see how his head moves forward just before he gets to the top of the back-swing. That swing was obviously filmed when he was in his fifties; but at 57 he came 3rd in the Irish open tied with Norman and Faldo. And the U S Masters champion finished way behind him. Norman won the next week and did well in the USPGA. Faldo won shortly afterwards. So we can conclude that the movement is not a fault; and it does come from great foot-work. In fact he is a pioneer of the golf swing.
