Is ordering just the side dishes in a shop considered bad etiquette? I used to go to this ramen shop and order fried rice only on some occasions due to the ramen being very filling and I just want a quick snack, I never got any weird looks from the owner during those times. But since you said that it's embarrassing, maybe me and owner were just odd, lol
It's not bad etiquette, it's just unusual because ICHIRAN is very famous for Tonkotsu ramen. People visit here for ramen. wow! Fried rice! I've never heard of it!! that's amazing! By the way, it's pretty eccentric if I order only side dishes in Ichiran in these days🤣
My kids are 12 and 9 yrs old so they can get ramen for free, yey! My son really loves ramen, but I think the free ramen size is not enough for him. Will the staff count free ramen per child? Or can I request 3 kids ramen even though I only have 2 kids? 😂
Shop only serves 2 ramen for 2 kids. I don't think we can request 3 ramen for 2 kids. But you can order Kaedama, refill noodles for around 200 yen so it's much cheaper to have kids ramen with Kaedama rather than having adult ramen!
