I am a bit late to comment on that video, but I really enjoyed it. For me, bento is about having a food box with up to 20 small boxes with different ingredients in it. If I want a proper steak, sukuyaki, chicken dish etc., I will always prefer to eat it in a restaurant spezialising for that dish. Either in the station or in the city. If I decide to get a bento, I want to have fun and try out many different small bites. The best bento box for me so far, was from Beppu to Hakata/Fukuoka. Please keep up the great work iNok.
Great video iNok! My favorite part about riding the Shinkansen was eating ekiben. I spent an entire afternoon in Tokyo Station just to see all the shops and restaurants too. My favorite was Kiwami-ya Gransta, it was a hamburg shop where you grill your own hamburg steak in front of you, it was very tasty!
So many different bento boxes. Love the ranking and surprised to see beef tongue bento was chewy. Beef Tongue prepared here in south Texas is slow braised then sliced and pan fried or quick grilled and it's always melt in your mouth tender. Love this video!

Thank you for the recommendations! My choice will be the inari sushi bento, inari sushi is one of my favorite dishes, but I never tried it with different fillings. Looks sooo good! 🤤

It's in the premise of JR Line in Tokyo station but it's before Shikansen gate!!

There're some benches at B1F in Tokyo station or in front of Tokyo station, there's open space and there're some seats too!!
Sadly, Takewaka seems permanently closed based on Google Maps..
