    I used to use Iron Out but never premixed it, it came with a little plastic scoop and I’d add 2 scoops to the same place you added your mix whenever I added salt. I had a new softener installed recently and was told it wasn’t necessary to add Iron Out to my new unit. I bet they said that so that I’d need to call them out for a future expense?

    Interesting video and this is the first time I've heard of and seen equipment for softening the water. Is this for all water uses? and does it mean that your water before entering the system is very hard, so it doesn't foam? Thank you for sharing and have a great weekend.👍🙂

    • @Viper6-MotoVlogger
      @Viper6-MotoVlogger  2 года назад

      Yes, this system is for very hard water only. Hard water makes you use more soap, as it doesn’t foam and it also makes your skin very itchy. Have a great weekend my friend.

    • @Viper6-MotoVlogger

      Did you put it into the small brine tank? You should not have a strong chemical smell. Try another regen.

      Yes I put it in the brine tank just like in the video. But I saw the water rise around the salt as I poured it.

    • @Viper6-MotoVlogger
      @Viper6-MotoVlogger  Год назад

      @@jessievictorio6663 it’s odd that your brine tank had that much water. If the smell bothers you, See if you can drain the water from the salt tank. If not, the smell should go away eventually and will not affect the performance of the unit. Next time, draw water out of the brine tank before adding the iron out, so it doesn’t overflow.
