Great idea. One suggestion, since it's in the bathroom where there's moisture, maybe put some little stick on feet so you won't end up with a rust stain on your counter or next time spray it with clear before using. Dollar Tree pans are terrible about rusting, or the ones I've bought have been anyway. Happy Crafting 🙂
This is an amazing idea and trying to think about making it for crafting and/or stationary supplies. Agree with you Pamela about DT pans rusting, because I've had bad luck as well.
Great idea!! instead of using mirrors you could put pictures or, a whatever decorative picture of flowers, do a small mosiac etc, etc that you liked to match your bathroom, or bedroom.
You are so clever, thanks for sharing this - I've never seen anything like it before. Gotta tell you too... I ❤ Hometalk! Having said that, your tutorial is, by far, the easiest to follow, perfect timing (pace-wise), and YOU are so very personable! You have found your calling!! Totally going to do this! I am a Jewelry designer and I own Oh Goddess O for 4 years and I have a lot of stuff! So this will help me with my events and organizing my studio! Thank you Beautiful! 💜 so classy!
Great idea but once you start adding costs, it's an expensive piece. Especially that top piece from Amazon for the brushes. Cheaper to buy a pre-made item.
Exactly what I was thinking! This one was over $30! $8 mirrors + $12 drawers + $2 pans + $1 or $2 marbles and the glues, the top organizer(s) and your time, really starts adding up!
I love these little drawers! I built a box around mine with some craft wood and painted the drawers with a chalk paint to make them look a little cleaner and it worked great! Also with those drawers, sometimes if you flip the drawer part (the part that pulls out) they open and close a bit easier. I noticed how they come out of the package they sometimes grab on the guide
Yeah, using her statement as to the cost of brush holder, it should come in just shy of $32. Not to mention, every time you have to move it, you stand a chance of losing your marbles... literally, then figuratively...
I like the suggestion for the rubber shelf/drawer liner. That would prevent the organizer from moving around on counter, falling off and spilling the gems.
You can use a rubbermaid like turnstill for dining table condiments as the base. I think i saw them this week at Dollar Tree. They are round and the size of a pie pan - much quieter, and you wouldn't have to worry with rust on the vanity top.
Would subscribe to this channel if all tutorials gave how tos like this particular tutorial. Would have like to see more detail in the walmart totorial.
Didn’t realize you put mirrors on the sides until you showed it. Pretty slick. I thought you were just going to get a lazy susan and sit it on one, which I guess if you don’t make it 3 organizers wide you could do. But with these dimensions I guess you would need it elevated. Of course I’m going to do one cheaper and not make it at all since I don’t wear makeup. But it could have plenty of other uses! Art supplies, holding small odds and ends if you have a shop setup, office supplies. Thanks for sharing!
Omg 😳 I love this! What a FABULOUS IDEA! So pretty and affordable! If u tried to buy somewhere it’d be probs 150- 200 dollars! I love the way it’s all together ! My daughter has some she bought and not at dollar tree that line the whole top of her counter top. I like 👍 urs all in one spot and spins!!!! Kudos and thank you!
I gotta say that’s pretty awesome! I’ve seen several videos with similar ideas but this is my favorite for sure! Think I will double the height though for my purposes 😜 thx for sharing!
I agree. The money spent to do this little project you could go to any store that sells makeup, etc. and buy a makeup caddy for the same price or a even cheaper.
Agreed. 12 drawers, 8 mirrors, 2 pie pans, and 1 or 2 bags of marbles ➡️ 23 or 24 items, times $1.25 equals $28.75 or $30, before tax. Assuming one already has a glue gun, glue sticks, E6000, tape, paints, brushes, and a utility knife, and doesn't have to buy them to do this project; if so, that's another $12 to $15. Oh, and the makeup brush holder on top, that didn't come from Dollar Tree, so another $5 to $10 (maybe Five Below has them?). 💲💰💲💰💲😬
Love this. I plan on using paint for metal on the cake pans. I use a set of pans in my pantry and they work great. I very much like how you don’t show every little step of the same thing you show how to do the first part.
Cute and Handy Looks better once it's in the bathroom. And I agree with alot of the comments. Put something waterproof on the bottom pan because of the moisture so you don't get rust stains. And the pan doesn't rust. Another idea to avoid that would be to use plastic pans instead of metal. Not as noisy too. .

She can use the same "gems" as feet
But I thought she said they were tin and tin doesn’t rust.

Do they still have the rubber like drawer liners at Dollar Tree? Cut one of those to size, maybe
Great idea!! instead of using mirrors you could put pictures or, a whatever decorative picture of flowers, do a small mosiac etc, etc that you liked to match your bathroom, or bedroom.
Great idea!
I did not expect the glass pieces to be used like that. What a genius idea!
Love*Love this idea!!!
A perfect gift for my teen nieces.💜
One of Hometalk’s best videos because she didn’t fly through it!
Nice project, too.
That is really cool, but you might want to put something under the bottom pan those rust when they get wet thank for sharing 😀
Maybe 4- 8 marbles glued with adhesive to the corners so it sits above any water. It will still rust thru felt.
That is a great organization hack! I love how nice it looks too. The marbles and pans idea is brilliant. I have not seen that done before.

Best Wishes with your business endeavors. Do you maybe have a website?

Wow !!! Love this !! Thank you !!!!!
Was not expecting that with the marbles. Great hack.
This project seems like it probably cost around thirty dollars, for that I would just buy something.
Yeah, using her statement as to the cost of brush holder, it should come in just shy of $32. Not to mention, every time you have to move it, you stand a chance of losing your marbles... literally, then figuratively...
I would probably just omit the mirrors and leave the whole thing clear
What a cool idea. I’m going to make one for my crafting room. Thanks for sharing, so awesome 😁🌹

First time viewer and I'm impressed. I will be subscribing.
Looks great!
Thank you for inspiration! ❤️
Very nice!
Best idea ever!!!
Really cool idea!!! Another thought... if you want it a bit higher up and take up less space you could glue on a candle stick
Omg 😳 I love this! What a FABULOUS IDEA! So pretty and affordable! If u tried to buy somewhere it’d be probs 150- 200 dollars! I love the way it’s all together ! Great video you did an amazing job...
This woman is just straight up genius. The marbles in between the two trays- oh my goodness.
Roflol. This idea has been around for well over 40 years. Wasn't her idea. 😂😂😂😂
THis is so pretty Thank you
Perfect for makeup & brushes..
Great idea!!!
Very cool. I would do something to make the base look shinier like some silver paint or maybe glue on some rhinestones.
I gotta say that’s pretty awesome! I’ve seen several videos with similar ideas but this is my favorite for sure! Think I will double the height though for my purposes 😜 thx for sharing!
Love this.🥰
This is my favorite one ever done on here 💗😊😁😁
When you diy something like this, I think it ends up costing more than if you just bought the real thing. IMHO
Thinking same thing. I DIY so I can dupe on a much smaller amount of money.
I agree. The money spent to do this little project you could go to any store that sells makeup, etc. and buy a makeup caddy for the same price or a even cheaper.
Totally agree especially with the added .25 cent price increase.
Totally agree

I will put this on my list of ideas ... cute!
Wow that's really cool I just shared your video with my daughter thank you
Love this. I plan on using paint for metal on the cake pans.
I use a set of pans in my pantry and they work great.
I very much like how you don’t show every little step of the same thing you show how to do the first part.
The mirrors are available in a silver glitter or without a boarder at Dollar Tree.
For the 16+ dollars spent making this, one could just buy one of these on Amazon lol
A little while back I was looking for a lazy Susan and could not find one. This is a good idea
Love this!
I, personally, would add more marbles for less spaces. Still room for movement, but more even and stable.
Cute and Handy
Looks better once it's in the bathroom.

Counted up the items. Cost from dollar tree $20-
