This is for all the negative comments about the repeat sessions: well some of us “old ladies” appreciate the repeat DIYs! And remember, you young’ins will get old one day too, if you’re lucky to grab onto the wisdom of calling “people of an interesting age”... “old ladies”. So on behalf of the older generation that are isolated in this time of Covid, thank you for the information and inspiration. The picture and the table are very cute ideas. 🙌🏼
It is all about creating. If you don’t like, don’t watch. Myself, I like watching what others create, because it makes me think of other ways to do same creations
THANK YOU for all of these. I make one-of-a-kind jewelry and have LOTS of leftover glass 'disks' from Dollar Stores that I've been trying to think of a way to use them. My spouse kept telling me to get rid of them since they were taking up space. Well, NOW I know what to do with them. My wife's going love me with all the 'disk' things I can make for her now. lol One man's junk ... lol
It would be helpful if you added links to each of these projects and some info on the materials, especially the glue. I never know what glue to use for stuff.
These are some neat & cute ideas! Wish the camera would have stayed on those jars, with the numbers and solar lights idea, a little longer. Seemed to zip by it far too fast to be able to see the finished work. Love your DIY ideas! Can't wait for some more! Would love to also see some of these ideas attempted and completed by viewers. That would be nice as well. And to hear what they thought about the process of the finished projects. Also really love those glass panels.
I agree with you also, especially with the glass jars with lights. This channel will hopefully focus a little longer on the finished product in the future.
What I like to do watching these is, get a sheet of paper and pen. Right down the things I like. I don’t want the list in the description when they show so many ideas. It would be far more confusing.
This was wonderful! I loved the music so much instead of constant banter and waving of arms as they talk a mile a minute. I can see what they are doing most of the time...I don't need an ongoing tutorial! But of course.....sometimes I do! But the music...ahhhh so good!!
I really liked the initial in beads idea. That would be great if you had a weird sized winow and you didn’t want to mess with trying to get s curtain on it. Unfortunately right now I don’t have anywhere to put these ideas into effect but they’re still fun to watch!
I love watching the creative ways to use these glass “ bead-stones”! Lots of labor of love here! I really like the ball jars with the solar lights used for house numbers! Great ideas!!
This is what I read: Mastic Can Be Used for Areas of Light Moisture Tile mastic is not known for its high resistance to moisture. Some tilers claim that tile mastic is fine in wet areas, as long as the grout is properly sealed--and kept sealed. Other tilers say that tile mastic should be confined to dry areas. Hope this helps you but in the long run it's up to you. Good luck!
Used some 99cent store gems for stepping stones and garden decorations. They all faded. Still pretty but if you want color I recommend actual mosaic stones and maybe some UV resistant finishing spray.
How long ago did you make them? I tried something similar but my glass rocks kept falling off lol. I used E6000 and hot glue. Probably not the best choice but I've not been doing DIY'S very long.
@@maryfolks9368 I made them for my bf and another for his mom for Christmas 2018. I used clear Liquid Nail. I had taken the window with me to The UPS Store and had them print the letter I needed to fit the window. Then taped that to the backside.
@@maryfolks9368 these were very heavy after all done. I still have not come up with a way to safely hang. So they stay propped against windows that are close to the floor. The sun shining through is so pretty.
@@Rapunzel4476 oh wow, I didn't know UPS did that kind of stuff for you, that'd great to know. And thank you, I think propped up or leaning against the wall is probably the best way to display something that heavy. Maybe something similar to those stones but not so heavy would be much better if the piece needs to be hung. IDK I'm still learning to use that side of my brain lol. Have a Blessed week and stay safe 😁
I really like the floral panes made with broken glass and gems. I could see that E6000 was used to attach the gems but I am not familiar with the liquid that was poured over the top of it all. Could someone please tell me what it was. Thank you.
I loved the idea of the dollar store gems. Going to try it on a project. Agree with comment about repeated ideas sometimes might overlook or wonder where can get some ideas. Thanks for the repeats.
The stained glass panels were really eye catching. What was the liquid that was poured over the glass mosaic? Can anyone help out; would love to try this one myself. Thanks for the great tips.
I cant keep up ,lol. I'm trying to see how to make the dice , looking lights and also names of the glues needed for the gems..YOU DID AN AWESOME JOB on that bathroom!! I'm sitting here so mad at myself bc I could've saved myself a fortune if I'd seen this video 4mths earlier 🤦♀️ lol..Thanks for sharing :)
What they don’t tell you about those colored glass stones is that they weigh a ton when you put a lot of them together! Seriously you wouldn’t believe how heavy an item becomes

Amen Sister!
I love it it's a great idea for my kitchen amen one day they will be older take heave now get wise

You said it! ❤️
Speaking for myself only, and I am unanimous in this: I say, in the vernacular of the young "preach it sista!"

I think these are great ideas and yes I am what everyone would term a senior, yeah for me.
That first one with the window pane is pretty cool and seems to be very simple. Some unique artwork can be made with those gems! Great idea!
I wish she did a better job of letting viewers know what products she uses for ALL the projects.
Well maybe you could rewind back and pause on each timeline where they show them, and write them down. That may work for ya.
It would be helpful if you added links to each of these projects and some info on the materials, especially the glue. I never know what glue to use for stuff.
E6000
The stained glass panels are my favorite ❤️. Very pretty 🤗
Wow! Your crafting ideas are amazing. I would love to do something new with my OLD patio tables😄thank you.

Thank you so much for sharing. It is amazing all you can do with simple things. Very beautiful, i will try. Take care.
I wish there was a list of supplies used. Not everybody knows what materials are being used 💔
If you watch the videos closely it shows what you need. Mastic, grout, epoxy, etc.
What I like to do watching these is, get a sheet of paper and pen. Right down the things I like. I don’t want the list in the description when they show so many ideas. It would be far more confusing.
Google....
Exactly.
Love it. Never would of thought of doing that. The possibilities are endless. Would make great gifts.
Thank you so much for sharing your great ideas.
Nothing new here
I love them all, very unique. But the panels of the broken glass is gorgeous. Blessings to you.
Beautiful work, thanks for sharing this video. I have these marbles in my closet just sitting around. Will use them now

Do you have to use grout? I like how it looks without grout.

Does anyone know how well the Mastic holds in areas potentially exposed to moisture? i.e., bathroom (Vanity)backsplash.
This is what I read: Mastic Can Be Used for Areas of Light Moisture Tile mastic is not known for its high resistance to moisture. its cheaper to buy 12x12 sheets at a home supply store to do your bathroom than the dollar store glass stones.
Cheaper....but not as satisfying...
Maybe, but, she ROCKS!!

Great ideas.
Really wish the completed project were displayed .....

Has anyone ever spray painted the gems before using on a project?
