Same risk with squirting charcoal fluid on hot coals. Don't be that guy. You'll lose all your facial hair at the very least. People may stop inviting that careless soul to the cookouts. Saw this happen. Except we didn't stop inviting Tony. Great guy plus the cookouts were at his place.

Use to play with a bottle of alcohol and sucked the flame in on purpose and it never exploded. Granted this was the 70's and we played as hard as we partied! In fact back then we had never heard of safety first and we all lived! We had chemical sets and everyone had a knife and even took our guns to school to hunt afterward, and all sorts of dangerous things that are outlawed now. So so sad. We had good sense and understood limitations or learned them quick, I suppose.
Go ahead, turn out the lights, open a bottle of alcohol and light a lighter above it then push out a little vapor! It's awesome!

I would think these are hazardous concoctions, let the user beware.

Please check with your local fire department to determine if something like this is (a) permitted in your community and (b) meets safety codes.

Honestly I can't see the necessity for involving the Fire Department. My complex doesn't allow fire pits but kerosene lamps aka hurricane lamps are a must because hurricanes.

I would think that any kind of grain alcohol or rum would work. Something that’s like 80 or 90 proof. I’m not sure how long the flame will last though. I’d only try this outdoors to be honest! Safety is most important!

It's called surgical spirit in the UK. It's isopropyl alcohol.

Essential oils shouldn't be used near pets. I mean, since we are listing smart tips, powered incense would work nicely. :)

If that is not the concrete they make fireplace bricks it can explode when heated with fire. This is too dangerous. Please delete this one and do it again with the correct concrete if they sell it to individuals. I'm sure you didn't know this is hate for someone to get hurt and try to sue.

I doubt it. BBQ grills and back yard fire pits are much more dangerous!!!

Alcohol burns about half as hot as some other fuels, but is a great choice for cooking indoors. It is extremely flammable, but not explosive. Look up alcohol soda can stove - safe and portable and uses 'trash'

How long do your projects last? It looks like you put in about a quarter cup. How long did that last you??
    Thank for the video.
