Glad to see so many people out there who love that soundtrack as much as I do. I'll always remember trying to recreate the theme for matches 6 - 9 in our basement using a keyboard, a children's toy and a poster roll and how my brother couldn't stop laughing when he recognized the tune. I love that now there's not just the original, but also stereo remixes, a Metal version and a Classic version of this soundtrack! 😍
I share your love for this soundtrack, glad I saw your post in the NES version's video. It's not as catchy obviously, but definitely as beautiful if not much more so from the orchestration standpoint. Great job man! Brings a tear of nostalgic bliss to my eye.
wow, that was terrific! NES World Cup was a game my friend and i would always go back to, so this has some great waves of nostalgia and some truly beautiful work. well done!
Leave it to you to swoop in and save the day, Jon. As usual, a superb piece. Wish you'd do some Crystalis music, even if it's any song from it, it'd be amazing to hear what you compose. This actually lifted my mood as it's been a rough last few months for me, so for that, I thank you for giving me a morale boost with such a wonderful tune. While I still say that my favorite is the Moon Theme that you done, this is a pretty stellar piece in its own right as well. I look forward to your next one. Godspeed, Mr. Sandersen.
There you are! As always, thank you for commenting and following my channel. I`m sorry to hear about that man, but I`m glad I could help a little bit :P This song is a personal favourite of mine, so I guess I used a bit more time than I usually do. I really like the music from Crystalis, so I wouldn`t count it out someday in the future =)
I'm going to be honest here, I didn't exactly recognize you when I saw this video, simply because the improvement is HUUUGE I don't know if you remember when I asked if you could do the X vs Zero tune from Megaman X5, now I can just imagine how epic it would sound with that new style that actually works a lot better. It feels a lot better than a lot of musics I've heard, you should really keep going that way because THIS DESERVES A 10/10 (Unless of course you put too much water, because if that's the case, IGN is going to rate you 7.8/10)
I`m glad IGN doesn`t rate me.. Their reviews are terrible :P It would probably be a cool project, I agree. But I still have projects that I started back in 2011 / 2012 that I have to finish first. I feel like I don`t have enough time to do all the things I want to do musically :/ Thank you for commenting on my video =) I`ll take your review instead of IGN`s any day. All the best!
WOooooooot * 0 * It's amazing work. I love orchestral music and I love this game DAMN Love this work really nice done mate LOVE your work. We are actually making shot movie with our company, could we use of your song for them? its none commercial movie atm. Thx man Really goodjob!!! NES would be proud heard this version after years im sure
+NMZ Production Sorry for the late reply, feel free to use my video game orchestrations, as long as you credit me both in the video and the video description =) Thank you for the feedback :D
As always, great work. Can't believe that this have been out for almost two months and I have missed it! I feel ashamed! Anyway, a seriously well composed work. Extremely tight mix. I think this is where you've improved the most if I compare to your earlier work. Or perhaps I'm just so exited to find a new work from you that it clouds my judgement ;) Also, the addition of a choir, gives it a new dimension and I'm wondering if you've considered expanding on that in future productions? I know it might be a risk since Using a choir as "just another instrument" so to speak, can really ruin your work. However, if it's done correct, it can add an enormous value to an orchestra.
ZeroneAngel I`m really glad you like it. I also think this production is one step above my other orchestrations that I`ve done so far. A contributing factor would probably be that this is my favourite NES song. It is actually one of the first orchestrations that I started to make, so it has taken a lot of time! Several years in fact.. I gave up on it a couple of times, so I am really glad it`s out! As for the choir, I tend to include them in most of my orchestrations, but usually they are in the background of the mix. It would be fun to do a song using only choir.
maestro! se escucha epico. desde niño soy fan de kunio kun y su musica me parece buenisima. Kazuo sawa compuso melodias que aun no se van de mi cabeza, felicitaciones 😅😎👍👍

beautiful and love the violins :) !
Thank you for commenting! I`m really happy to hear that you like the violins, they`re usually the main component in my orchestrations :D

Using only a choir would be interesting, not to say very, very hard. But if you pull it off...well, then you might have created something amazing :)
is good but, need the Macht 7-9 to finish strong...... you're an artist, I take my hat
