Love how he is making a video about improving the workshop to help him make videos about improving the workshop to help him make videos about improving the workshop.
I honestly was thinking the exact same! Although I love it and I have to admit my experience since I started 2 years ago has been pretty much the same. Just making a bunch of things to make making things easier. And in between all of that I do get to make a little doo dad here and there :P
I love the fact that the first problem Alex had to solve for this video was not having enough clamps to justify a solution to the problem of having too many clamps.
If anyone else like me was curious about the jig at 8:20 , It's a Blum EcoDrill, and alternatives of the same design are Sommerfelds EasyBore and Hettich DrillJig. KregTool Concealed Hinge Jig is a basic cheap alternative, with a handful of companies using the same design. Neat stuff!
Hey Alex, if it's something you think you might be interested in doing, you should make a secondary channel where you go into some detail about how you design these projects. Do you use 3D software or the like for the planning phase? How do you go about it? The reason I say you should make a secondary channel, is because that might not be everyone's cup of tea, and it's a completely different kind of content, but I know there would be people like myself who'd be interested in seeing this sort of thing. Maybe do a trial period to see how it goes? Hmm? Hmm? *shrug!* You could get a little more in-depth with the 3D printing side of things, your designs/plans for projects and how you go about them, etc.
Alex, the idea was amazing and being able to execute it flawlessly was brilliant! Few people can manage proof of concept AND entertain/teach so many. Thanks again for another great vid, brother!
I found your channel by accident while searching for ideas about woodwork. I'm not a professional, just a hobbyist, but this amuses me. Not only you make this looks fun, but by showing some of the steps, I can have a general idea how I can do on my own. Not only that, since I'm not a native English speaker, your diction and the words you use are quite easy to understand. Keep up the good work. God bless. Greetings from a brazilian viewer.👍
You sir are such a pleasure to watch build. So many great ideas and the execution is right on! Your energy and excitement makes me want to get out into the shop and build! Thank you!!
I love the montage about prepping the door. The way you say one sentence throughout the entire montage, it’s so seamless and beautiful and well planned and elegant.
Honestly with the quality of your work and the finesse of your editing, especially on your earlier videos you should have millions of subscribers... absolutely love ur work and enthusiasm👏🏻
I've thoroughly enjoy all your hard work and skill in precision and your versatile knowledge of making things. I absolutely love recommending your channel to all my friends
Wow that's really neat, I kinda like the idea of the hidden compartments. Kind of makes me want to build a storage system that is full of little hidden spots. In a way it does maximize storage space especially when optimized for certain shapes like the clamps. I can totally relate to trying to move awkward stuff alone. I live alone so when working on projects like this some things can be a challenge. Some parts of building my shed were... interesting. Especially hoisting plywood for the roof on my own. A bit sketch.
I usually have to watch youtube videos sped up cause I feel like videos are too slow but never on your videos. Amazing content and amazing work!! Love the videos!
Beautiful. If I was you, I'd put in the top drawer things that you need once in every 100 years. But when you need it, you know exactly, where you can find it ;)
Amazing build, it turned out really nice! Great minds think alike as I just built and posted floating shelves with hidden storage. Keep up the great work. 👍🏼
@@kostasdrakakis8386 Same. No one likes this guy apart from brain-less people that get amazed by anything. Yeah you printed some random crap designed by a random dude on thingiverse, who cares? He also always uses cringe emojis which makes things even worse
The cabinet looks great. If I see it correctly at 0:57, it now blocks the temperature readouts from your printing cabinets and also the smaller pipe with the upside down Y connector. What's that pipe used for and are you planning to move the temperature displays?
Amazing as always, Alexandre. I'm looking forward to the next video where you make an artistically designed rubbish bin to go in the corner next to the clamp cabinet. :)
I like your "Kamera" do not disturb filming in progress sign lol. Where did you end up moving the thermostats for the 3D printers to? I noticed they were removed.
I wonder why the hidden filament storage isn’t on the 3D printer side? Was that because of the layout of the cabinet and the location of the pipe? Now you need to walk around the drawer when selecting spools. Love the design with the two linked drawers!

you fotgot at least two improvings and videos
This is honestly my favorite maker channel, and that's saying a lot! Because I watch a lot of really great makers on RUclips. Alexandre is top tier!

ha ha ha
I think I get more enjoyment out of videos of people improving their workshops than videos where they make non-workshop things.
This man is a genius. At this point he makes videos about building things that helps him make more videos. Infinity loop
That's how mafia works
And his craftsmanship is superb.
And After his shop is finished he moves to a NEW shop
90% of woodworkers only make stuff for their woodworking shop.
He needs to hire Xzibit and to a PIMP my Workshop
This channel is still heavily underrated.. Awesome video again!
Love the fact that you didn't let the sewer pipe spoil your plan.
Yeah, that would have been super crappy...
@@lognott Ahhh, I see what you did there👍
Would hate for the project to go down the drain!
I love the fact that the first problem Alex had to solve for this video was not having enough clamps to justify a solution to the problem of having too many clamps.
That place up there in the drawer is perfect for a secret labsnacks storage ;)
Yeah, nothing beats a bag of salted wood chips.

Thanks! I came looking in the comments for this info!!! I love jigs like this. 🥰
(interacting with this video so RUclips recommends it to more people) ❤️
Seeing all those clamps organized inside is so satisfying!
You're editing is awesome, the little touches jumping back and forward in "time" while maintaining the same sentence between the two scenes.
Alexandre, you have such a smooth, easy to enjoy, 'flow' to your videos, lovely to watch.

The Master of Organization is back!!
Your accent, prononciation kills me, awesome video Alexandre, greetings from... Switzerland
The extra space at the top was just to flex with his camera arm ;) great video!
The fit of all the things you kept inside the cabinet is just mesmerizing * w * this was like visual ASMR or something
Best use of storage space I've seen in quite a while! Thanks for sharing.
Can we please get a DIY video on the Aucustic panels with the felt backing!
I really like to see how you are relentlessly committed to ODC your workshop
I love your videos but with each one I watch I am steadily more jealous of your workshop. I love the organization, thank you for another great video.
Absolutely love your work 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽❤ 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 To the company that HAVE you the clamps ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Bessey produces by far the best clamps 👍🏼🗜
Awesome use of space and craftsmanship.
Cant help imagining you as General Grievous saying 'Your clamps will make a fine addition to my collection', while spinning your clamps.
Great project. You can never have too many clamps.
It's so good , beautiful work , i am people who speak on russian language , but it's so interesting to see what you can to make . Nice !!
I’ve never been more entertained in someone building
Holy crap, those clamps are worth a pretty penny. Probably several times more than my entire workshop. Bessey ain't cheap.
Very cool man, you're one hell of a craftsman. I'm a carpenter and you do great work..
Dude you are the best maker on the whole youtube
Aww thanks bud! Second only to the great flokroll ✌️

Dissecant for passive dry storage for your 3d filaments on the top empty space

tres belle realisation, bien concue et adaptee a l espace de travail. en plus c est tres joli une fois fini et remplit. bravo.
Such a great choice for storage and I like how it matches up with the 3D printer cabinet!
Just signed a contract for my own workshop space. Soaking your ideas now to implement them in my workspace! :)
The best part of these videos is watching you struggle to get your projects off of your work desk. Always makes my day.
Watching this guy create happiness to me even If I am not interested in him project.
I'm always amazed by your ingenuity. Awesome!

been watching since the 3d printed camera arm. Content has only gotten better. I love this channel
this guys has the best storage solutions
Awesome video, thanks! (youtube algorithm, please recommend that to the whole planet, even to people in the ISS)
That's some awesome shop furniture, and very well presented! Thanks for sharing!

Das der Hammer! Du hast so geniale Idee. Danke für die Inspiration
A very creative storage solution. I do wonder if the two levels of drawer slides share the load or if the top set mainly is maintaining alignment.
What a sympathetic guy.👍
Your bloody good 👍 👍👍👍
Love all your videos you come up with some great ideas
One of my favourite on RUclips 👍👍👍👍
Looks great! And an awesome solution for storing some filaments. Can’t wait to see what you come out with next!!!

Im literally waiting for your video love from india
There's no way I would be able to make this even if I had all the tools needed to do this. Great job!
3:36 that sound is cool
Love it! Makes me want to start my own wooden workshop in my garage
Keep up the good work Alex!
You're incredible! No more to say
Very nice, you can never have enough clamps!
well made and executed to the plan
This is fantastic! I'd like to make a version of this.

So jealous! I have a shopping cart full of these clamp and am so close to pulling the trigger... So expensive though!

Another amazing project! I wish I had enough clamps to need this!
Hey alex, id like to see your take on a hydroponic plant growing system. Im sure you'd come up with some cool 3d printed parts!
I am so close to buying some of those clamps. Great brand. Great video!
In the secret space, you could try to make a sort of easter egg. A maket that you would build of the shop or a town and we have to guess it.
The space on top is where you'll throw your old clamps once you get more bessy clamps ;)
Amazing as always, Alexandre. I'm looking forward to the next video where you make an artistically designed rubbish bin to go in the corner next to the clamp cabinet. :)
Haven't seen many sponsored Bessey builds. That's cool I guess, they make good clamps, albeit kind of expensive. Nice project!
Great idea Alexandre.
If you put a mirror at an angle above the top drawer you could more easily see what’s in there.
i just love the organizational videos
Top drawer bandsaw blade replacements
Good move on Bessey's part. I'm sure that their investment will pay off immediately. I, for one, will probably purchase some of those clamps.
I like when i see your notifications ❤️😭
I love secret compartments
I like your "Kamera" do not disturb filming in progress sign lol. Where did you end up moving the thermostats for the 3D printers to? I noticed they were removed.
Bessey Clamps are great! Good idea for storage of them ... even better idea on how to acquire some of them for free! :)
You could put some snacks in the top compartment ;)
Love the whole idea of the cabinet. It's like a huge apothecary drawer (?)

I wonder why the hidden filament storage isn’t on the 3D printer side? Was that because of the layout of the cabinet and the location of the pipe? Now you need to walk around the drawer when selecting spools. Love the design with the two linked drawers!
