I haven't gone back to see if you have reviewed them in the past, but if you're getting into 'enthusiast' keyboards (that are still easily sourced and purchased) Have you taken a look at keyboards from GMMK or Nuphy? I think you might find something extremely enjoyable from those companies. To me, using low profile keycaps on a normal profile frame and switch just looks... wrong.
